Take a picture perfect virtual walk around the city, combined with stories about the most striking sites and historical events. In the beginning of this Online experience, we will explore a large part of the "old city" and enjoy the view of Alster Lake with touristic ferries and swans that became the city’s icons. Afterwards, see the street of the millionaires - Jungfernstieg - and get closer to the main Town Hall and its hidden yard with a beautiful Italian fountain.
Hamburg is well-known for its Gothic churches, so we will have a look at the grand church of St. Nikolai, which holds secrets about World War II. I will guide you to the harbour area to admire the old-time warehouses (Speicherstadt), narrow canals and behold the modern port with its cruise liners, ferries, docks, shipyards and cargo ships. You will have an opportunity to observe the city from the observation deck in Elbphilharmonie (innovative philharmonic) if there is no queue. Our promenade will be accompanied by historical, social, and fun facts, intriguing stories and active conversation.
