Description

The UNESCO-protected city of Seville has many charms and allures. This city is the birth place of flamenco and also called the door to the Americas. Most of all, it is marked by a rich, multicultural heritage owing to the intermingling of several cultures – from Muslim, Christian and Jewish to African and Gypsy – that have left a unique impact on the gastronomy, folklore, and local lifestyle here.
This live-streamed and interactive Online Experience will take you on a pleasant walk around the monuments and the narrow streets of Seville. Equipped with my local expertise and good humour, I will tell you all about the history, local legends, and social secrets of Sevillian life as we take in the many physical and architectural marvels the city has to offer.
We will begin with a walk along the Guadalquivir river, and proceed to see the famous “Door to Jerez”. Explore some of Seville’s most prominent and popular landmarks: the Constitution Street, the General Archive of the Indies and the Alcazar Palace. A visit to the seven-sided Cathedral of Seville is also a must, given its famed beauty and status as the largest gothic cathedral in the world. From here, we will also see the Bishop’s Palace, and learn some interesting facts about it. Towards the end of the tour, I will take you to the City Hall of Seville, in front of which we will say our goodbyes.

Seville for me signifies the blood of martyrs, the home of mythological beings, the epitome of ambition, power and love... and I want to let you know why!  I look forward to hosting you on this exciting virtual tour of my beautiful city!
