I am from Austria and I have been living in Salzburg for over 20 years. I love cooking, hiking, skiing, golfing, reading, and travelling. My interest in Interior Designing brought me to Los Angeles where I pursued my Design degree. Afterward, I started living in Amsterdam for 3 years and discovered my love for guiding. I have been working with tourHQ to provide guiding services in Salzburg, known for its historic town, for delicious food and picturesque nature and I would love for you to experience it all.

I loved this tour .. partly because I love this evergreen film and mostly because of the way the guide was able to provide an immersive experience - I truly felt like I was IN the film.
Besides giving an overview of the film shooting locations, she gave us interesting insights into the actual lives of the von Trapp family. I was amazed to learn that the film was relatively unknown in Austria for the longest time as it was never translated from English to German. The most fun part was the mini lesson on yodeling - The Lonely Goatherd !!!

Lovely tour ! Much better than the real tour we took at Salzberg some years back. So absorbing and enjoyable that we felt transported to the sites and relived the shots of the movie. Saw much more, learnt much more about the iconic sites where shots were taken in a much shorter span of time and less tiring, therefore, especially for my ageing parents. . Excellent experience!

An insightful tour by a friendly tour guide. Anyone who loved watching the movie 'The Sound of Music', this tour is a great way to learn about the von Trapp family, how the movie was shot and even give a try to yodling!

Michela is clearly very passionate about the Sound of Music. It was fun learning about what really happened at the time, how the movie was shot, and what happened to the different characters. She was able to answer all our questions. I would love to go to Salzburg, once travel opens up again!
