In this live, Online Experience, I will take you through the Notting Hill market area. Together we will explore several filming locations from popular movies such as Notting Hill, Paddington 1 and 2, the Italian Job, Love Actually, and A Hard Days Night.
Walk through the market, funky food areas and the best places to see the beautiful coloured houses and mews that the area is famous for. We will also see the locations where many rock stars hung out from the 1960s onwards; the favourite spots of various artists like Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Queen, George Michael and Madonna.
Another highlight of this trip will be seeing London's first cinema where a notorious mass murderer worked as a projectionist. Through many such interesting stories and anecdotes that Notting Hill has to its name, you will be guided by a true local who has lived in the area for many years.

I was born in Scotland and came to live in England at the age of 2. My family lived in Sussex and Essex; I moved to London in 1977 and absolutely fell in love with this amazing city. I have lived through many different eras in London's history and became a registered London Guide in 2010.
