Then, we will stop in Castle Square to see the City Castle and feel the city vibe between the pubs, restaurants and old charming streets. In the Jewish district, we will see the Stumbling Stones - a memorial to Maribor Jews killed during the Holocaust. The next stop will be in the Jewish Square, in front of the Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in Europe, still standing at its original location. From here, we will get admire a nice view over river Drau, Pohorje Hill, and some remains of the medieval city walls and defence tower (Water Tower).

Walking alongside the river, we will reach the oldest part of the city - Lent. Here stands also the main symbol of the city - the oldest vine in the world that still produce grapes, which is also inscribed in the Guinness Book of Records; It is more than 450 years old. The building where it grows is a winery, where you can see an exhibition dedicated to this plant.
