The best way to experience Rouen, the capital of the French state of Normandy, is exploring the old city and its wonders from the comfort of your couch! This live-streamed, interactive Online Experience will allow you to discover iconic highlights of Rouen; such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Big Clock, the Old Market Square, and the medieval streets with its typical timbered framed houses!

We will begin this tour in front of the Rouen Cathedral, which is world-famous thanks to a series of paintings by the French Impressionist Painter, Claude Monet. After admiring the gorgeous facade, we will step inside and discover the awe-inspiring stained-glass windows, as well as the tombs of the most famous Dukes of Normandy, Rollo the Viking and Richard the Lionheart. 

Then, we will wander around Old Rouen and walk down its medieval streets to admire the very well preserved timbered-framed houses. We will also make our way to the Big Clock, which is the biggest symbol of the town.

On our way to the covered market- the Old Market Square, where Joan of Arc was burnt in 1431, and where the very modern church dedicated to her exists-we will pass in front of the Renaissance splendour of the Palace of Justice.
