Description
Start this live-streamed experience at the tequila weber agave plantations, where I will explain about this unique plant that is used to produce Tequila.
We will then head to the factory to see how the agave plants are stewed, cooled, crushed and fermented. The fermented juice undergoes distillation process, and you will see how the concentration of alcohol in the tequila is reduced from 50% which is quite strong, to 35 to 40% (38% normally used in Mexico and 40% overseas). After that, follow the tequila through it's ageing process of four levels:White Tequila (2-3 months of ageing), Reposado Tequila (3-12 months ageing), Aged Tequila (1-3 years of ageing) and Extra Tequila (3-5 years of ageing).
We end the tour at the tasting area, where we will see these exquisite tequilas in their final form.
