Description

In this Online Experience, we will focus on Haifa's admirable state of inter-religious co-existence. We will start from the Stella Maris Church and Monastery, also known as the Notre Dame de Carmel and continue to the lower part to visit the terraces of Baha’i Gardens - did you know that Haifa is a centre for the Baha'i faith, which happens to be the second holiest place for the Baha'i in the world?

Next, we will follow the steps of the Templar settlers to the German Colony. As we look around, you will learn about its history and get to know the stories behind the German Templars who settled in Haifa in 1869. I will then take you to Wadi Nisnas – the Christian/Moslem/Jewish neighbourhood, where you will notice an easy intermingling of different religions, cultures and even cuisines that make up its unique atmosphere.
