The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit word Yuj, which means to yoke or bind, and is often interpreted as "union" or a method of discipline. while the word Hatha means willful or forceful. Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones.
This is a beginner's yoga session, specially designed for individuals who want to learn yoga. Anybody can join this yoga class to learn basic yoga poses which are easy and helpful and can be applied to everyday life.
We start the session with a prayer and then warm up with body moments. Simple poses such as Tree Pose, Eagle pose, Trikonasana, Natrajasana, Wind flow pose, Boat pose, Shoulder stand with back support, Plough pose, Half Cobra pose, Cat and Dog Pose, Bridge pose and so on will then be taught. Then, for the last 5 minutes, we will close our eyes and do breathing practice and chanting of Om.
