Grab a wand and join your robed guide on this experience! You will discover the magical locations that inspired characters and scenes in the series, see the places where JK Rowling wrote the books and even learn a spell or two along the way. Your guide will be live using a mixture of high-resolution images and Google Earth.

Instructions
- Please have a good internet connection and Zoom app installed in your phone or laptop
- The instructions to join the meeting will be sent via email shortly after the booking
- Bring a wand! Or at least something that can be used as a wand. A pen, pencil or chopstick will work fine
Know before you go
- During the experience, the host will engage the audience with a lot of fun trivia quiz and activities. There will be a house point competition, sorting ceremony, and spell casting
- You can book this tour for GBP 70, invite up to 20 friends and family to join this activity with you from all over the world.

The tour was just not what we expected. It is called Harry Potter trail a virtual experience and hello it was just a power point presentation of photographs .. we were expecting that the guide would actually be going to those places and we would experience the trail not a story on some photos. We are all Harry Potter fans and were looking forward to this but we feel miserably cheated .. even we can ourselves assemble photos from google and show a ppt why should we pay for it. A big disappointment .

My girls are Harry potter fans and loved the tour. It helped that the guide- Richard looked a bit like Harry potter, had the dry british humour and sounded so British. The only thing that I found needed a little bit of tweaking is that since Harry potter books range across age groups, my girls who are 8 have not read all the books (the ones which are rated 13 plus) and so did not follow some bits of the tour.

We had a fabulous time on this virtual trail! Admittedly, kids and I were excited even before the tour began as we’re big fans of the Harry Potter series... but truly, the guide had us glued for the complete hour with intriguing snippets, fun quizzes and overall he really knew to get everyone on board.
I loved that though online, this really felt like an interactive group outing and not in the least a video presentation. Would love to follow this up with a face-to-face tour with the guide when I can go to Edinburgh in person!

Richard was amazing! Learnt a lot about Harry Potter, and JK Rowling... I enjoyed it so much that I binge watched Harry Potter immediately after!

My children and I- all Harry potter fanatics- joined the online Harry Potter Trail- with Richard. From the beginning, he had us enthralled with his tour- despite it being virtual. When we roamed Edinburgh through Google, it felt we were there. He threw in a great quiz for the kids with 'House' points which kept us on our toes, including having a Sorting Hat which he virtually put on everyone's head- and the audience was also very interactive. The little pieces of information strung along the tour were super fascinating, and even though they were from the different books, they didn't come across as disconnected- in fact it all hung together beautifully. It left us wanting more and we ended up doing a marathon run of all the movies back to back! Excellent tour and well done TourHQ for thinking up of this.
