Description

We will start this live-streamed tour from the streets of Warsaw next to the Złota Street Memorials, the southern section of the Jewish Ghetto, and head north. Driving across Żelazna Street, we will observe how the original buildings are combined with the reconstructed, communist, and modern ones.

We will stop at Waliców street to look at the original part of the wall with the thousand bullet marks and spend 10-15 minutes at the Footbridge Memorials to look at the elements during the high season. I will also explain to you the reason for a footbridge in the Warsaw Ghetto and the tragic history of its inhabitants/prisoners.

We will then proceed to see the Umschlagplatz and Miła 18. Later, we will walk together to the main area of the Ghetto, where the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising started, taking a closer look at the Polin Museum Building (European Best Museum Award 2016) and The Monument of The Heroes of The Ghetto Uprising, giving Nathan Rapoport praise for his work of art. Finally, we will sit next to the Jan Karski monument and have a conversation together.

Artur Górniewski

"I will tell you how it was" - is my main motto. Storytelling based on precise history knowledge is what I do. While describing the history of Poland I also refer to the other European/World figures or moments. Tour guidance is a responsible profession, so to make my clients satisfied I must get to know about Guest's concerns and do everything right. Proper Tour Guide should be like a duck - above water surface always calm & easy. Though, below the surface legs are doing a lot of operations just to hear these two words after the tour: "Good job"

My kids and I had such a fun and informative tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and answered every question posed by a 5yo and a 9yo.

  • ARULNATHAN JOHN

The guide was accommodating to my schedule and he explained the attractions and places visited extremely well and with great knowledge and experience. He knew his work and we had a great time communicating together and it was a very exciting tour.

  • This is a very difficult subject, and Artur does a very good job of telling the story. People need to see this, to be sure that things like this are not repeated ever again.

  • I have read Mila 18, and was really looking forward to this tour. Artur really brought this to life.. he is great to talk to, and he really does an amazing job of showing us everything. This was a walking tour delivered from location- something that made it all the more poignant.
