Description

This live-streamed interactive Online Experience will take you on a scenic walk along London and help you learn more about the history and legacy of the British Monarchy.

The tour will begin at Buckingham Palace, the London Residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This walk has it all: royal affairs, royal friendships, masques, war efforts, and executions. As we make our way down the Mall along the processional avenue, you will find out which building stands in place of Buckingham Palace in the movies. You will also see a Tudor Palace and the Clarence House, where Prince Charles and Camilla live, and learn about the fascinating history of Marlborough House.
Next, the tour will proceed to St. James Park, the prettiest park in London. Then, we will go to the Horse Guards Parade, the place where every year her majesty’s official birthday is celebrated. Did you know that it was once the tiltyard of a Palace larger than the Vatican? You will have a chance to glimpse at the horse guards and hear more about the gruesome execution of a King, and the palace that exists no more.
This walk will conclude at Trafalgar square, one of the most iconic squares in London where Queen Elizabeth joined the crowds of London to celebrate VE day in 1945.
