Join in on this unique online experience, which will allow you to enjoy half of the tour around a small, but very active and lively open market and the other half on a boat ride in the Nanay river!
Our virtual experience starts at the market of Bellavista Nanay, located on the north side of Iquitos City. Here, we will walk around and have the chance to learn about Amazon culture, interesting jungle gastronomy, exotic fruits and vegetables of the season, and fish that are unique to the region.
Then we take on a fascinating short but interesting boat trip to explore the intersection of the Nanay River and the Amazon River, the latter being one of the longest rivers in the world. As we watch the dark water of the Nanay mingle with the muddy waters of the Amazon, learn about the history of both rivers, watch beautiful landscapes, and listen to interesting jungle stories of the Amazonian people. If you are lucky, you will see some pink and grey river dolphins playing in the distance.
Get ready for what the Amazon has to show you- sights like nowhere else in the world!
