Description
Join me for a brief tour of the city of Bogota. We will start the tour in the main square, Bolivar Plaza. You can see and learn about some of the important government buildings and the Catedral Primada, the first-ever school that opened in Colombia back in 1604. We will visit the Nariños Palace (Colombian president's house) and also walk to a couple of Catholic temples (closed due to COVID 19). We can see the beautiful houses in la Candelaria (historical and architectural heritage of humanity).
Next, we will stop at the small square (Choro de Quevedo), the site in Bogota which was founded in 1538. Also, visit the first narrow road built in Bogota (stones and bricks) funnel alley with some beautiful graffiti. We will end the tour with a visit to Bogota downtown, where you can observe the difference between the old and new parts of the city.

I recently toured the beautiful city of Bogota (virtually) and would highly recommend it.
In Bogota you would see magnificent street art and sites (some of which are UNESCO world heritage sites). There wasn't a dull moment as the tour guide showed us lots of places and had a lot of knowledge to share. We even interacted with the locals (one of the locals even wanted to learn more about Singapore)!
The tour overall was lots of fun and taught us a lot about beautiful Bogota and its street art!
