Meet your Host
Tanya Tomitova

I am qualified in linguistic education, as well as a degree holder in law. But travelling is my passion, and I’ve worked as a guide in the Baikal area since 2006. I belong to the native community of this area. My ancestors lived not far from Baikal for many centuries, they were occupied in cattle breeding, hunting, leading nomadic style of life. Since my childhood I was taught by my parents and grandparents about different shamanistic rituals, and as an adult started to do research about the religion. I also got the education of a life coach and found a lot of explanations of what I was taught in childhood. And now I’m happy to invite you to the unique world of Baikal with its history, legends and beautiful landscapes.
