Old Delhi or Purani Dilli is an area part of the greater city of Delhi, India. It was founded as a walled city named Shahjahanabad in 1639 when Shah Jahan shifted the Mughal capital from Agra.
Join me on this live-streamed Online Experience to explore Old Delhi, the former Mughal capital of India. We will see Jama Masjid, famous for its fusion style of Indo-Islamic architecture. Delhi's largest & magnificent mosque. Its spacious courtyard holds thousands of the faithful who offer their prayers here.
We will also stroll around the famous bazaars of Old Delhi like Kinari Bazaar, Dariba Kalan. After the Mosque, we will explore a Rickshaw (a small-scale local means of transport human-powered by pedalling) to the sprawling, atmospheric neighbourhood filled with winding lanes and centuries-old shops of Old Delhi. The place still holds an old-world charm known for its colours, culture & tradition. You will also get to know about some famous and favourite street food of Old Delhi.
