Cook authentic Burmese food with a local chef from a Bagan home. Learn a traditional way of cooking our local style Fish Curry (non-vegetarian) and a spicy eggplant dish (vegetarian). During this interactive session, you will be given a wonderful insight into Myanmar's culture and everyday life. Almost all the recipes used in this local home session are from the Bagan region, so you can be sure that you will get a real taste of Burmese food.

For the Spicy Eggplant Dish

  • Eggplant/ Aubergine (the purple one) 400 g  - 4 People
  • Onion  (2)
  • Garlic (3)
  • Tomato (2)
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilli Powder
  • Sugar
  • Salt 
  • Soya Sauce
  • Peanut 0il (or) Sunflower Oil
  • Vegetable Oil
