- We will start from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, a square famous for its vibrant nightlife but also dominated by one of the oldest churches in the world! Discover this “secret story”.
- Then we will head across the district called Ticinese, a medieval section of the city. We will walk by some of the best “gelaterie” in town, trendy independent design shops and a beautiful park before reaching the Basilica of Saint Eustorgio. Here we will discover lots of stories.
- Finally, we will discover an unusual Milan: a city of water. Few people know there is a harbour in my city! The darsena was the Third harbour in Italy for tonellage until the 1960s!
- We will learn the history of canals walking by the Naviglio Pavese, the role of Leonardo da Vinci in the construction of Milanese waterways and how the stones to build the Duomo were transported via the Naviglio Grande.
- The tour will enter inner courtyards and hidden locations before finishing at the Vicolo dei Lavandai, one of the most charming locations in town.
- The tour will be led by a local that will answer your questions; you'll see the city with the eyes of a Milanese.
