Enjoy the view of a Venetian palace overlooking a canal in Murano from the comfort of your home. Even better, learn how to make the best "Spritz", the most popular drink in town!
In this live-streamed experience, we will spend Aperitivo time together, the best part of every Venetian’s day, while learning more about this traditional beverage in Venice: from where its name comes from and why it is so popular both among grandpas and youngster in town.
We will taste all the variants seen in all bars here in Venice: the sweeter orange flavoured Aperol Spritz, the bitter and stronger one with Campari, the intrigues version with Cynar and delicate and most authentic Spritz with Select. Drink by drink I will share with you some tips and my secret recipe as a Venetian!
After our happy hour, we will have a virtual walk together along the canals and bridges showing real hidden gems and spectaculars view of Murano and the skyline of Venice.

Know before you go
You can arrange the following ingredients (not mandatory for the experience):
- Aperol: this orange liquor is unmistakable and seen all over Venice!
- Select: pretty unknown fleshy red liquor, proudly Venetian since 1920, a true icon of the Venetian aperitif!
- Cynar: brown bittersweet liqueur of the amaro variety; it is made from 13 herbs and plants, artichoke being the predominant one.
- Campari: famous throughout the world as an icon of passionate Italian style and excellence, whose intense aroma is enhanced by the sparkling aromatic note of the wine.

I was born and raised in Venice and spent half my life away: getting Germanised in Bochum and Göttingen, enjoying the post-Olympic vibe in Turin, getting drunk in the worst bars in Moscow, following the silk road in Central Asia, clubbing in Berlin and pretending to be a professional manager in a multinational corporation in Africa and the Middle East.
