Description
Amer fort was built in the 16th century by Hindu Rajput kings, and the fort has a blend of two different architectures, Hindu and Mughal. This fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2013 and is famous for its frescoes, stained glass paintings, lattice screens, beautiful inlay work on red sandstone and white marble, mirror work on the wall and ceilings of king's chambers and secret passageways.
In this one-hour online walking tour of Amer fort, you will see four beautiful courtyards built by three different kings of Amer city. Admire the beautiful Sun Gate, Moon Gate and Nakkar Khana in the Jaleb Chowk. Head to Diwan-I-Aam and observe the detailed frescoes, Ganesh Pole and Turkish baths, among other delights. At the Diwan-I-Khas, walk through the Summer, Monsoon, Winter and gorgeous Mirror Palace. End your tour at the Man Singh Palace, where you will see the grand rooms of the Twelve Ladies and King Man Singh.
