Depart with some fresh vegetables and other supplies which will form part of the Swazi traditional lunch later on in the day.
Leave the hustle and the bustle of the town for the peaceful and scenic rural area of Lwandle. ELwandle is well off-the-beaten-track at the end of a windy one hour journey to the mountains. Opportunities are taken for regular stops at the scenic point.
Experience of the rural Swazi family life and culture. Understand Swazi customs and traditional beliefs, and learn how they continue to play a powerful role in modern times. The hosts are well-spoken and they are able to discuss both good and the bad.
Stretch your legs and have the opportunity to visit the local neighbouring families to polish your Siswati language skills and see the real day-to-day life of these friendly Swazi people. This is not a cultural village set up for tourists but this is a real thing.
