    • Move to Kongres Square. Here, the university's building stands proudly and perhaps the most beautiful baroque architecture in the city, the Ursuline Church of Holy Trinity.

    • Take just a few steps away from the complex to reach the National Library.

    • From there, enter one of the medieval city cores and listen to the stories of Cobbler Bridge and River Ljubljanica. Once this bridge is crossed, one can see and feel how the life of medieval Ljubljana really looked like in the 15 century.

    • Proceed to City Hall and Cathedral, not far away.

    • Continue with the tour to the marketplace, butcher bridge and dragon bridge.

  • One of the smallest European capitals is situated a little short of the geographical center of Slovenia. The city's scenic medieval core is squeezed between the Ljubljanica River and castle hill. Ljubljana, also known as the city of the dragon, is walkable, and its center is closed to the traffic. Due to this and some other measures taken in the last 15 years, Ljubljana was honoured with European Green Capital's title in 2016! From the castle tower, there opens a breathtaking view of the city and 30% of Slovenia!
