• Start the tour after departure from Irkutsk.

• Stop at the southernmost part of Lake Baikal with a great view of the water and mountains. It is also possible to visit the local fish market. 

• Drive along the picturesque valley, crossed by the Irkut river and stop at the Buddhist Stupa at the border of Buryatia. The monument is called "Myriad of Doors of Happiness".

• During the summers, it is possible to visit a nice old man, who lives in a small village on the way, a shaman, who knows all the traditions and lots of stories about the life of people who were here many centuries ago.

• Visit the ancient volcanoes to see different samples of stones and volcanic rocks.

• Arrive at a friendly mountainous resort in Arshan.

Accommodation in the hotel

• Start the day by exploring the area near Arshan village and its surroundings.

• If you are a big hiker, there are a lot of routes from Arshan into the mountains. There are easy paths for half of the day and long hiking routes for the whole day. The destinations include Bowl of Virgin, Peak of Love, Waterfalls of Arshan, the Three-Peaked Mountain and others.

• If you are not a big fan of hiking, visit the local Buddhist Temple. Talk to an astrologer monk and walk along the sacred meadow.

• You may also visit the mudflow 2014 place, which witnessed a natural disaster in 2014, but nowadays, it has become a picturesque place for photos.

• It is also possible to visit the swimming pool and the natural hot springs area, built in an effortless style.

• It is possible to add a day to travel to Nilova Pustyn, another hot spring resort, or explore the Southern Part of Baikal with Warm Lakes.

• Later, transfer back to Irkutsk.
