Experience the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains in this three-day journey as you trek through offbeat trails in the Piatra Craiului National Park and Malaiesti Valley. See rescued brown bears at the Libearty Bear Sanctuary, relax at the Curmatura Mountain Hut and stroll through Brasov's Old Town area.

  • Day 1: Zarnesti expand_more

    • Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Brasov and set out on your 25-kilometre drive to Zarnesti.

    • Visit the Libearty Bear Sanctuary, home to over a hundred rescued brown bears. The place also offers seventy hectares of forest lands to these furry giants. 

    • Head to Piatra Craiului National Park for a 2.5-hour hike to Curmatura Mountain Hut. Relax at the shelter as you enjoy its good food and spectacular views.

    • Return to Brasov in the afternoon and spend some time in the Old Town area exploring local sports equipment stores, pubs and restaurants. 

  • Day 2: Poiana Brasov expand_more

    • Meet your tour guide at 9:30 AM and make your way to Poiana Brasov, a famous Romanian ski resort.  

    • After a light walk through the resort, hike to Postavaru Hut. The hut offers excellent food, a good atmosphere and amazing panoramic views.

    • Return to Brasov in the afternoon and enjoy some free time.

      • Optionally, visit the Water Paradise Spa and enjoy its hot water pools, saunas, and an olympic-sized swimming pool.

  • Day 3: Rasnov expand_more

    • Meet your tour guide at 9:30 AM in Brasov and make your way to Rasnov on a 20-kilometre drive.

    • Begin your 2.5-hour hike to Malaiesti Valley.

    • Return to Brasov in the afternoon and visit some of the city's medieval-era attractions before concluding your tour.
