Guided Tour From Hanul lui Manuc To Unification Square expand_more
- Meet me up at the Starbucks in Hanul lui Manuc (Piata Unirii) - Manuc's Inn - by the entrance
- From there, we explore together the old city center & old financial district and the remains of Ottoman - Bucharest
- We will explore the narrow streets and the many landmarks in the area, with detailed information about the city's birthplace, historical characters, famous restaurants and cozy bookshops.
- We will walk down the city's most famous street and reach the most famous concert hall - the Athaeneum. On the way, we will discover the turn of the century architecture, the Bucharest during the wars, modernism and art deco;
- We will pass by the cafes and the military club and make a more extended stop at Revolution & University Squares with their recent turmoil and the gruesome anti-Communist movement and victims
- The communist landmarks (Palace of Parliament and Unification Square) and their out-of-the-ordinary history, with an outside view of the Parliament.
