Sign up for a cultural and historical tour of the city of wines, Évora, which is intimately connected with Portugal's reconquest over the Moorish occupation.     • Meet your tour guide and start your journey from the top of the hill on the Temple of Diana. Take some time for photos, and walk around. 
    • After spending 15 minutes there, we walk around the main street for 40 minutes, filled up with souvenirs made out of cork as a super typical item to bring home.
    • The next main spot is Giraldo Square where we will spend 20 minutes to refresh ourselves at the local cafés and have a nice fresh drink in the center.
    • The next place will be the unique Bones Chapel, with an expanded area to visit for about an hour. In this attraction, you will have a fully guided visit.
    • For lunch, we need to taste the local food in one of the best restaurants in the city. Following that, we will visit the São Francisco church for 10 minutes. 
    • The last place where we will spend an hour or more will be the magical and delicious Cartuxa vineyards, which is a delight for wine lovers. For this, you will have time to book a wine tasting here.
    • With the taste of the wine still on your lips, we will have a happy return to Lisbon.

Know before you go
  • The tour must be booked at least one week in advance, because (Wine tasting must be booked at least 1 week before the visit)
  • The wine tour ticket is paid on the same day of the tour at the reception of the vineyard, (Cartuxa guided visit extra cost of 50€ per person, wine and tapas).
  • For this tour, you will have to buy the tickets after booking the tour, since I need to check the availability of the vineyard.
