    • 1:15 pm: You will arrive at a meeting point in San Lorenzo. From there you can follow us to the farm in your car. Once your reservation process is completed, the time and the meeting point will be sent to you.
    • 1:30 pm: Start driving to the farm.
    • 2:00 pm: Start the tour at the farm with educational talk, interaction with the bees, and honey tasting.
    • 3:30 pm: We will drive to the urban town (15 to 20 minutes) to visit the store, Apiaro Guare. 
    • You will learn about the packaging process and laboratory facilities and have the opportunity to assemble your honey can.
    • The tour will finish at 5:00 pm.

Know before you go

Consider the following:

  • You must wear a special suit for this activity (provided by the farm) when interacting with the bees. Interaction with the bees will not be allowed for people who do not comply with this point.

  • You must wear long socks and closed shoes. Interaction with the bees will not be allowed for people who do not comply with this point.

  • Do not use perfumes, body lotion, or any other hard fragrances.

  • It is necessary to complete a release of responsibility (waiver) before starting the tour.

  • In the reservation, you must report if you have allergies or existing health conditions and identify all the people who are in your group.

  • We will set a meeting point for the participants. You must be at the meeting point at the indicated time to complete the registration and to fill out the release of responsibility. For security reasons, the meeting point is only shared with you after completing the reservation.

  • We will talk about the history, culture, gastronomy, and biodiversity of the visited destination. Our tours are to enrich your life with knowledge and experiences.

  • If you select ATH Móvil as a payment method, at the time you click the submit button on the form, you will receive an email with a quote and instructions. Your reservation will only be accepted at the time we receive your payment transaction. Send the total amount of your reservation that appears on the document you will receive by selecting the Pay a Business option.

  • Each participant must bring snacks, water, and money for their food purchases if the tour does not include it.

  • The use of sports and fresh clothing is recommended. Flexible. We do not recommend wearing high-heeled or elevated shoes. The surfaces we will be walking on could be uneven.

  • Use mosquito repellent, natural or organic, if possible.

  • Use sunscreen and a hat.

  • Use closed shoes that can get dirty or wet. A pair with a good grip on the ground.

  • Bring extra clothes and shoes to change into. In case it rains, or you just want to change at the end of the tour.

  • Bring a raincoat ('poncho', 'impermeable') for the rain.

  • Bring a camera to capture your memories during your experience.

  • Be enthusiastic about breathing fresh air, getting to know La Isla del Encanto and supporting Puerto Rican farmers.

  • Debe tomar en consideración lo siguiente:
  • Al momento de interactuar con las abejas usted debe llevar puesto un traje especial para esta actividad (provisto por la finca). No se permitirá la interacción con las abejas a personas que no cumplan con este punto.

  • Debe usar medias largas y zapatos cerrados. No se permitirá la interacción con las abejas a personas que no cumplan con este punto.

  • No utilice cremas o perfumes de olor fuerte.

  • Es necesario completar un relevo de responsabilidad antes de comenzar el recorrido.

  • En el registro de reservación debe informar de alergias o condiciones de salud existentes de usted y todas las personas que estén en su grupo.

  • Turismo Borincano fijará un punto de encuentro con las personas participantes. Debe estar en el punto de encuentro a la hora indicada para completar el relevo de responsabilidad. Por motivos de seguridad, el punto de encuentro solo se informa después de reservar su espacio.

  • En Turismo Borincano se habla de la historia, la cultura, la gastronomía, y la biodiversidad del destino visitado. Nuestros recorridos son para enriquecer su vida de conocimiento y de experiencias.

  • Si selecciona ATH Móvil como método de pago, al oprimir “submit” en su formulario, recibirá un correo electrónico con una factura preliminar e instrucciones. Su reservación sólo será aceptada en el momento en que recibamos su transacción de pago. Envíe el monto total que aparece en el documento que recibirá seleccionando la opción Pagar a un Negocio o “Pay a Business”. 

  • Cada participante debe traer merienda, agua y dinero para sus compras de alimentos, si el tour no lo incluye.

  • Es recomendable el uso de ropa deportiva y fresca. Flexible. No recomendamos utilizar zapatos con tacón o elevados. Las superficies que estaremos caminando podrían tener desniveles. 

  • Uso de repelente de mosquitos, natural u orgánico si es posible.

  • Uso de bloqueador solar, sombrero.

  • Uso de zapatos cerrados que se puedan ensuciar o mojar. Que tengan buen agarre al suelo.

  • Ropa y zapatos para cambiarse. Por si llueve o simplemente desea cambiarse al final del recorrido.

  • Llevar consigo un chubasquero (‘poncho’, ‘impermeable’) para la lluvia.

  • Cámara para la captura de sus memorias en el lugar.

  • Tener muchas ganas de respirar aire fresco, conocer la Isla del Encanto y apoyar a los agricultores puertorriqueños.
