  • Day 1- Islamabad – Besham – Chilas expand_more
    • Depart early and drive to Besham via Haripur, Abbottabad, and Mansehra.

    • After a short break at Besham, we will resume our drive on Karakoram Highway, along River Indus. We will make photo stops at Shatial Rocks with ancient graffiti on them.

    • Reach Chilas and transfer to the hotel here.

  • Day 2- Chilas – Gilgit – Karimabad (Hunza Valley) expand_more
    • From Chilas, we will travel towards Hunza and stop on the way for sightseeing at Nanga Parbat View Point and the confluence of 3 mountain ranges (Karakorum, Himalaya, and Hindukush), including the convergence of Gilgit River into the Indus.

    • From here, we will reach Gilgit. We shall continue bypassing Gilgit and the Hunza River.

    • Have a lunch stopover at Rakaposhi Viewpoint and then move on to reach Karimabad, the capital of Hunza valley.

    • Check into the hotel in Karimabad and stay there for the night.

  • Day 3- Karimabad – Excursion Khunjerab Pass expand_more
    • Today we will make a weather permitted excursion to the Sino-Pak border at Khunjerab, crossing the villages of Gulmit, Passu and Sost en route. Khunjerab is the highest point on KKH at 4,734 meters and is considered the world's highest trade route.

    • In the evening we will return to Karimabad.

  • Day 4- Karimabad (visit Baltit & Altit forts) – Drive to Gilgit expand_more
    • Ultar, Hunza Dome, Bublimating, Spantik, and Diran are famous peaks that surround us at Karimabad, while Rakaposhi at 7788 m dominates the whole panorama.

    • At Karimabad, we will visit the Baltit Fort Museum and the Altit Fort.

    • In the afternoon, drive to Gilgit and make a brief trip to the bazaar.

    • Later, we will be transferred to the hotel.

  • Day 5- Gilgit – Kargah Valley – Besham expand_more
    • After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and visit the Kargah valley for the ancient (7 century) Buddha carving on the mountainside.

    • After that, we will drive back to Gilgit, and from there, we will start our return journey towards Besham.

    • Reach Besham in the evening and transfer to the hotel on arrival.

  • Day 6- Besham – Islamabad expand_more
    • From Besham, we will resume our journey towards Islamabad, passing through Mansehra, Abbottabad and Havelian and will reach Islamabad at our designated drop off place.

  • Hunza Valley is one of the most popular destinations in Pakistan among tourists, photographers, and painters. The valley offers significantly different panoramas in different seasons. Summer is green, and spring is white, while in autumn, the whole valley turns into red, yellow and orange. Rakaposhi at 7788 meters dominates the entire panorama while travelling on Karakoram Highway along with Indus & Hunza rivers is a memorable journey.
