  • Day 1: Wagah Boarder - Lahore - Islamabad expand_more
    • Meet our representative at 12:30 pm and drive to Lahore city for lunch. After lunch, we go to Islamabad on the M2 motorway. En-route, enjoy sightseeing and do toilets breaks.
    • Upon arrival in Islamabad, we transfer to the hotel. Take rest in the evening.
    • Enjoy dinner at the Kabul Restaurant.

    The approximate driving distance is 5/6 hours from Lahore.

  • Day 2: Islamabad - Gilgit -Hunza expand_more
    • Go to the domestic airport to catch the flight for Gilgit. The ATR plane flying over the Himalayans and Karakorum mountains will give you pretty views of K2 - the world's second-highest mountain, Nanga Parbat - 9th highest mountains, Rakaposhi peak and Saiful Mulk lake in Kaghan and Naran valleys and also the Bubusar pass (4170 m) and the mighty Indus river. All flights are subject to weather conditions for Gilgit Baltistan. If a flight cancels due to bad weather or any other issue, this day will transfer to Chilas on the most engineering KKH.
    • Drive you to Hunza Valley, about two hours from the Gilgit Airport along the Hunza River through enchanting lush green Nagar and Hunza valley.  
    • Visit the Baltit Fort and Altit village and walk around the traditional and colourful Bazaar of Karimabad.

  • Day 3: Karimabad - Nagar - Hoper Valley - Hunza expand_more
    • Travel to Nagar valley across the Hunza River. Just after a 5 km drive, we stop at the small junction point where the confluence of Hunza and Nagar River is.

    • Drive to Nagar Khas, passing by beautiful orchards of apricots, apples and cherries. This valley offers an excellent place for blossom and autumn colours. Stop near the Main Bazaar of Nagar to have a magnificent view of the backdrop - Ultar Mountains and the south-west Golden peak.

    • Continue with a drive to the Hoper valley. Enjoy your time meeting the locals and observing their unique cultures. View this lush green valley with surrounding high mountains and the largest glaciers out of the polar regions.

    • Drive back to Hunza and head to Duiker on a dotted route. Walk to the Photography point for sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding 7000 m mountains.

  • Day 4: Hunza - Attabad Lake - Borit Lake - Passu Trek expand_more
    • Observe the beautiful sunrise over the Diran Peak with breathtaking views of the Golden peak, Rakaposhi, Ultar 1 Ultar 2 and Lady Finger and down into Hunza Valley and Nagar.

    • Drive through tall fruit tree-dotted fields that are being readied for spring planting and cross the long tunnels to Attabad lake. Here, enjoy a boat tour to explore the lake formed when a landslide blocked the Indus river submerging a village and farmlands.

    • Stop at the Hussaini suspension bridge before Borit Lake for lunch under a looming Shispar peak. Look down onto Passu glacier's white crevasses, pass by the Ghulkin Glacier and see the spectacular cathedral peaks over the Hunza river and beautifully rounded river rocks.

    Overnight stay at Hotel. Hotel, situated in the tongue of the Passu glacier. 

  • Day 5: Passu - Nangar Valley - Gilgit - Gahkuch Valley expand_more
    • Drive to the Gahkuch valley through a small village and  Karakoram with beautiful views of mountain landscapes. Take lunch at Gilgit.

    • Drive to Kargha Budha, and then, it's a further two hours travel along the Ghizer /Gilgit River to Gahkuch valley by driving on the Gilgit /Shandur road. See some nine valleys full of colourful fruit trees -  peach, apricots and cherries. 

    • Head to upper 'Gahkuch valley passing. Reach Upper Gahkcuh and stop for spectacular views of the entire Gahkch and Selfi village, the best place for photographers.

    Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 6: Gahkuch - Chilas- Dassu- Besham expand_more
    • Start the journey early in the morning and depart for Besham via Karakorum Highway.

    • En route, stop at the world's three greatest mountains ranges - the Karakorum, Himalayas and the Hindu Kush with the confluence of the mighty Indus and Gilgit Rivers.

    • Travel to Dassu via Karakorum Highway after lunch at Chilas. The whole journey is on KKH along the mighty Indus River. Karakorum Highway is the most engineering road that passes the gorge of the Karakoram and the Himalayans mountains. Since its construction between 1968 to 1978, it was open to the public in 1980. Before the construction of KKH, the Silk route was the main route from the east to the west made by the Han dynasty of China for their trading purpose. En route, stop for photography and toilet breaks.

    • Visit Dassu Patton and finally reach Besham. 

    The approximate driving distance is 12/13 hours.

  • Day 7: Besham- Thakot- Mansehra - Abbottabad –Islamabad expand_more
    • Drive through the greener Himalayan foothills. At Thakot, we leave the Indus River and enter the Shimla hills. We stop for the lunch enroute.

    • Stop at the Heritage sites of the Taxila Museum and the Dharmarajika Stupa site. Ancient Taxila was the centre of the Ghandhara Civilization, and empires invaded here included the Persian, Greeks, Indo Greek, Kushan etc.

    • Drive to Islamabad and visit the Faisal Mosque for its Turkish architecture design.

    • See the Shah Faisal mosque and other Islamabad sights.

    • Enjoy dinner at a Chinese Restaurant.

  • Day 8: Islamabad - Lahore - Wagah Border expand_more
    • Drive to Lahore on Motorway. The MT Motorway is a north-south motorway in Pakistan connecting Rawalpindi /Islamabad and Lahore. The MT Motorway is 375 km long, located entirely in Punjab. 

    • En route, stop for lunch and toilet breaks only.

    • Upon arrival at Lahore, transfer to the Wagah Border before immigration closes. Immigration timings are from 9 to 14:00 hours. Enter into India with many good memories from colourful culture and high mountains. Goodbye and have a good rest!
