Description

Explore the most wonderful and historical site of Machu Picchu, an Incan citadel set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built-in the 15th century and later abandoned, it is renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views. Its exact former use till date remains a mystery.

    • At 05:50 am: Pick-up from the hotel and transfer to Poroy Train station (near Cusco).

    • At 06:40 am: Departure of the train.

    • At 09:50 am: Arrival to Machupicchu town.

    • At 10:00 am: Take bus to Machu Picchu park.

    • At 10:30 am: Arrival in Machu Picchu park, fully guided tour, enjoy a fascinating viewpoint to take postcard pictures of the ruins, the tour guide (me) will be close to you for anything you could need, and show you into the Inca site.

    • At 13:45 pm: Take a bus down to the city.

    • At 14:15pm: Have lunch.

    • At 15:20 pm: Return to Poroy by train.

    • At 19:20 pm: Arrival to Poroy train station to be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.
