Description
Start your tour from Bellavista Nanay to see the confluence of the anay and amazon rivers. Then meet with indigenous animals at the Fundo Pedrito preservation centre and Amazon animal rescue centre and spot reptiles and other wildlife on nocturnal hikes as well as early morning jungle walks. Meet with the oldest indigenous tribe, the Yahua and return to Nanay to end your adventurous Amazon journey in a boat.

Day 1: Bellavista Nanay expand_more
Meet your tour representatives at the port town of Bellavista Nanay.
Depart by boat from Nanay port, making a stop to see the conjunction of Nanay River and Amazon River. Continue downriver for 30 minutes, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and spot river dolphins.
Arrive at Fundo Pedrito preservation center to see alligators, turtles and the biggest fish of the Amazon. You will also see the Victoria amazonica plant, the biggest of the water lilies in the world.
Continue navigation by boat to reach the rustic-style lodge and have lunch.
Post lunch, begin your boat expedition to the Amazon animal rescue center, where you will get to play with macaws, parrots, coatis, sloths and a wide variety of monkeys. You will also be able to take a close look at the largest boa in the world, the anacondas, and the prehistoric turtle, the Mata Mata.
Stay at the lodge overnight. Take a nocturnal hike looking for spiders, snakes, lizards, frogs or rodents, hearing the different sounds of nocturnal animals.

Day 2: Amazon exploration expand_more
Get up early to see the sunrise and start your day with a birdwatching activity. This is the best time to see wildlife by the riverbank and inside the jungle. Go for an Ethno-botanical walk through the jungle to learn about the flora of the Amazon.
Meet the members of one of the oldest indigenous groups in the Amazon, the Yahua tribe. Get along with them and enjoy their songs and dance performances. Contribute to their preservation by buying their hand-made handicrafts.
Self-catering lunch. Return by boat to Nanay port and private transfer to your accommodation or the airport. End of the tour.
