Day 1 : Reach Aguas Calientes expand_more
- Pick up from the hotel at 5:30 am in the private taxi, and head to the train station at Ollantaytambo to board the train at 7:45 am.
- Travel by train for 1 hour 30 minutes until we reach to the start of the trail.
- Start to walk up and continue for 4 hours approximately to the Inca site Wiñay Wayna ('Forever Young') 2650m.
- After exploring the Inca site, continue to 'Inti Punku' ('Sun gate') 2720m for about 1 hour. See the first panoramic view of Machu Picchu at 2400m.
- Take a 1-hour downward walk down to get to Machu Picchu.
- Go down to Aguas Calientes to spend the night and to have dinner.
- Visit the thermal springs in the town after finishing the trail.

Day 2 : Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu expand_more
- Have breakfast at the hotel, and then take the first bus between 5:30 am and 6:00 am up to Machu Picchu to see the sunrise.
- Optional - Climb Wayna Picchu (2720 M) in the first group at 7:00 am. It will take between 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach the top of this mountain.
- After enjoying the beautiful views from the top, go down to Machu Picchu to explore the mysterious Inca city with the guide.
- Meet the guide in Aguas Calientes for lunch and get the train tickets back to Cusco. The train usually leaves at 16:43 pm from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.
- From there, return to the hotel in Cusco.

Transportation: Private taxi to the train stataion, train tickets to km 104, bus tickets from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes (first day), bust tickets round trip Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (second day) train tickets back to Ollantaytambo and transfer from the train station to the hotel.

Tips and extra spending.
Ticket for Wayna Picchu. If you would like to climb Wayna Picchu please tell us for which group (7:00 or 10:00) in the remarks field while booking. Additional cost would be USD 70 and be paid at the briefing.
Please note that no porters are foreseen for this trek as we do not get one day permits for the Inca trail for porters. Everything you need for the two days,you have to carry yourself.

What to bring
You can pay 50% as a deposit, and the balance you pay in Cusco in CASH when you arrive in Cusco and before you start the tour.
This deposit is refundable only 30% if you cancel the tour 30 days before start the tour.
The 20% of the deposit is non-refundable. Because as soon as you make the deposit, we are going to buy Machupicchu tickets and train tickets and those tickets can not be changed by the date or person who will use them.

Required fitness level (low, medium, high): very low.
Everybody doing a trek must arrive at least two days prior to the starting of the trek to Cusco in order to acclimatize to the altitude.
