• Pick up from the hotel in Huaraz at 8 am and depart for Chavin de Huantar ruins. 

• Drive through the villages of Recuay and Huacapampa across the Santa river. 

• Continue by the eucalyptus trees passing through the sheepherders' village.

• Join the paved highway and drive along the highlands full of pastures and straws.

• Arrive at a small valley and discover the Querococha lake there.

• Continue to the highest pass of Tunel de Cahuish, an important point for the hydrographical division where the west side water flows to the Pacific ocean and east side water flows to the Atlantic Ocean.

• Travel through the narrow valley in a zig-zag way, passing through Rio Mosna by the river's flanks.

• Arrive at the archaeological site of Chavin de Huantar.

• Have lunch at a local restaurant.

• Explore the castle of Chavin and discover many labyrinth rooms.

• Proceed to one of the main buildings amongst the Chavin ruins-the Lanzon, a big stone carved remain of the Pre-Incas.

• Observe the plazas, cavezas clavas main porch, the modern museum and more to know about the Chavin Culture.
