Day 1- Huaraz at (3100 m) – Pashpa village at (3600m) – Ishinca base camp at (4350 m). expand_more
Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am and head towards the north side of Callejon de Huaylas until Paltay town.
Turn to the east until Pashpa village at 3600 m. On the dirt road, meet with the donkey driver, who is going to load the climbing gear until base camp at 4350m, where the camping spot is located.
Overnight camp at Ishinca base camp.

Day 2- Ishinca base camp at (4350 m) – Ishinca summit at (5530m) – Ishinca base camp at (4350 m) expand_more
Prepare the climbing gears and tools very early at around 2:00 am.
Have breakfast and then begin walking up toward Ishinca mountain at 5530 m.
Walk upon switchbacks until Moraine, which is about 3 hours long trail. Climb up for around 2 hours from the glacier edge until the summit.
Enjoy spectacular sunrise and splendid mountain view. See more than 10 summits over 6,000 meters around, including Ranrapalca Mountain.
Descend on the same route until base camp. Enjoy the last night, camping at Ishinca base camp.

Pick up the climbing gear, after breakfast.
Walk down along the Ishinca valley until Cochapampa, where the private transport is waiting to head back to Huaraz.
End of the expedition.

Know before you go
- This summit is perfect for acclimatization with the easy difficulty of climbing up. The normal route is on the west ridge, between the col of Ranrapalca & Ishinca mountain. Offer a breathtaking mountain view from the summit, where we will be surrounded by over 6000m and snowcapped peaks as Chinchey mountain, Palcaraju mountain, Tocllaraju mountain and Ranrapalca mountain, including impressive Huantzan mountain.
Maximum altitude: 5530 m. (Ishinca summit).
Difficulty: Moderate.
Duration: 3 days / 2 nights.
Preferred time: May – September.
Average temperature: Between 13° C – 23° C during the day/ at night -05°C to – 02°C.

Do an early book to get special discounts.
For booking validation, deposit 40% of the total price, and pay the rest 60% upon arrival in Peru or Huaraz.
