  • Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Abra Malaga - Santa expand_more
    • Leave from Cusco at 7:00 am in a private vehicle, drive into the sacred valley of the Incas through Chincheros, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo.

    • Reach Abra Malaga and change the kit provided by your tour operator (gloves and helmets) following a 20-minute briefing by an experienced tour guide.

    • Begin your bicycle tour to Santa Maria (downhill and cross country).

    • See archaeological centres like Huamanmarca and Inca jail and incredible landscapes. You will be able to appreciate birds of the tropics, as well as medicinal plants in the cloud forest.

    • Pass through many exotic fruits plantation such as mango, pineapple, papaya, avocado, coffee, and coca plants. You can take samples and enjoy the different flavours of the region. 

    • Observe the cocoa and coffee plantations and see local families in their daily routine.

    • Have lunch and dinner in Santa Maria town nearby the river, where you will spend the night in a small familiar hostel.

    NOTE: For river rafting, you will start after lunch. It will be about two and a half hours, then back to Santa Teresa for an overnight stay. This is an optional activity; you can also go rafting in the Vilcanota river.

  • Day 2: Santa Maria - Inca Jungle Trek - Santa Teresa expand_more
    • Have breakfast at 6:00 AM and then trek along the Vilcanota River banks.

    • Walk part of the Inca trail through the jungle.

    • Go up to Inca jail from San Pablo to see waterfalls and archaeological centres of the Inca time.

    • Get mesmerised by surroundings and the indescribable beauty of the jungle.

    • During this part of the trek, go through towns, and experience their serenity and peace.  

    • Sleep at a small familiar hostel in Santa Teresa town.

  • Day 3: Santa Teresa (Zipline) - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientestes (Hiking) expand_more
    • Wake up early to take 30 minutes transport until Lucmabamba community.

    • Start to walk over Inca's Trail visiting the forgotten archaeological site of Patallaqta. 

    • Get the first view of Machupicchu.

    • Do optional ziplining in Santa Teresa in the morning. The Peruvian government is working over there rediscovering and cleaning the forest of this Inca's trail.

    • Arrive at Hidroelctrica train station to have a delicious lunch.

    • Continue for 2 hours more until Aguas Calientes town, where you spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

  • Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco expand_more
    • Enjoy early morning breakfast and take the bus to Machu Picchu (20 minutes) to visit the Machu Picchu Citadel. 

    • Proceed for fours hours of a guided tour to explore the ruins individually.

    • Learn in-depth about the marvellous Machu Picchu Citadel and the Intiwatana.

    • Come back to Picacho at 9:30 pm and then take a bus to Cusco at 12:30 am approx.
