Description
Escape the heat of the day and see the sunset scenery at Dahareez lagoon and its pretty beach on this 5-hour tour. Next, drive to the Plantation Area, where you get a chance to learn more about different kinds of tropical fruits in Salalah, taste the fresh fruit and have a coconut drink at local stalls. After that, a brief photo stop at the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos ("Al Husn Palace", not publicly accessible), take a walk through the still remaining old Haffah Souk, famous for the sale of high-quality frankincense and many other souvenirs like colourful clay incense burners with traditional patterns. Then, make a photo stop at the second largest mosque in the country, the impressive Sultan Qaboos Mosque in the city center, dominated by warm, sandy colours from the outside.
