Drive to Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century, and its Souq renowned for its Friday cattle auction.
Continue to the top of Green Mountain, called Jebel Akhdar.
Marvel at the scenic view of the city from the top of the mountain, which rises to a height of 2,980 m and encompasses the Saiq Plateau at 2,000 m above sea level.
Take a leisurely walk through the hanging gardens which run along the side of the original Falaj system.
Visit Diana Point to marvel at the spectacular views across the Canyons and terraced villages of Jebel.
