The Mount Everest Base Camp Trek is an adventure journey and the most popular trek in the Everest region.   • Day 1: Flight to Lukla 2,820 m & trek to Phakding 2,657 m – 03 hrs expand_more
    • In the morning, fly to Lukla with grand views of Himalayan peaks during 35 mins flight with Everest.
    • Upon reaching Lukla, time to refresh, then continue walking on a gradual trail with your Nepal trekking guide past Sherpa village to reach Phakding for an overnight stay.
  • Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 06 hrs expand_more
    • Start the morning on the gradual trail following the Dudh Kosi River upstream to reach Monjo and Sagarmatha National Park entrance.
    • From here, take a hike in the river valley within a forested area. 
    • Then, climb for a few hours to reach the famous Namche Bazaar for one night stop.
  • Day 3: Acclimatisation Day (Hike to Everest View Hotel ) 3hrs: (3880m) expand_more
    • After breakfast, go hike to the Everest View Hotel. It takes 2 hours to climb up to the Everest view hotel from Namche Bazaar. Should climb 400m, and you can see an excellent view from Everest view hotel as Mount Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku, Lhotse, Nuptse, Kusumkhang, Tabuchi and more mountains.
  • Day 4: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05 hrs expand_more
    • From Namche, head up and on a winding trail with downhill to a river and then uphill walks for few hours within serene alpine woodland to reach scenic Thyangboche Monastery, surrounded by a series of peaks with views of Everest and Amadablam. 
    • Enjoy an overnight stop at Thyangboche with time to visit its monastery of great interest.
  • Day 5: Trek to Dingboche 4,365 m – 05 hrs expand_more
    • Morning with grand views of peaks, then downhill to a river. 
    • After crossing a bridge with a slow climb towards Pangboche village with close views of Amadablam peak, the walk continues to reach a scenic Imjatse Valley, where the overnight stops at Dingboche located with views of Amadablam and Island peaks.
  • Day 6: Another rest day at Dingboche for acclimatisation and local hike expand_more
    • Another lovely and scenic spot for a rest day to get acclimatised is where one can take a short hike up at Nagarjuna hilltop for excellent views of mountains facing Imjatse and Dingboche below. 
    • After leisure and rest, marvel at the grand views of the mountains.
  • Day 7: Trek to Lobuche 4,890 m – 05 hrs expand_more
    • From Dingboche, with a pleasant time, head up above Dingboche and Imjatse valley with scenic views, and then on gently up as altitude catches, taking slowly to reach Thugla for a lunch stop in this small place. 
    • Afternoon climb to a ridge of Thugla-La with a gradual walk of an hour from here to reach Lobuche for overnight with views of Nuptse and Lobuche peaks.
  • Day 8: Trek to Gorakshep 5180m EBC 5,365 m – 06 hrs expand_more
    • After the Lobuche walk, today takes you to the highlight at Everest base camp, as the route leads with slow uphill and above Khumbu glacier and moraine to reach a flat field at Gorakshep, a place with few nice lodges. 
    • From Gorakshep, continue to walk toward the east to reach Everest Base Camp. 
    • On reaching the target, enjoy views of giant peaks with Khumbu Ice-Fall and glaciers, and then walk back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.
  • Day 9: Morning climb on top of Kalapathar 5,545 m walk to Pangboche 3,900 m- 06 hrs expand_more
    • Early morning, take a hike on the steep uphill to reach on top of Kalapathar at above 5,545 m, the highest point of the adventure facing wonderful views of the mountain range with Everest and Pumori at close distance.
    • From here, descend to Gorakshep and walk downhill to Lobuche, walking past Thugla with more descent to reach Pheriche valley and its nice settlement as the walk continues on the easy downhill to Pangboche for an overnight stop.
  • Day 10: Trek to Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs expand_more
    • From Pangboche, retrace the journey with ups to Thyangboche and downhill with an hour up and then on the good winding path to Namche Bazaar for an overnight stop before Lukla.
  • Day 11: Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs expand_more
    • Today a long walk to reach the last stop in the Khumbu area at Lukla. From Namche, on the downhill to a river with a short climb to Monjo and then on a good trail to Phakding village, where a few hour's walk from here takes you to Lukla for a final overnight stop within Everest and Khumbu area.
  • Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu 25m expand_more
    • As per your morning flight time, transfer to the Tenzing-Hillary air terminal in Lukla, and board in a smaller aircraft for the scenic flight back to Kathmandu.
