Gear up for an adventurous trek of the Annapurna foothills and see outstanding views of the mountain ranges as you trek to Machhapuchhre, then make your way to the serene village of Gurung. Pass by the lovely and lush forests on your way to Chhomrung and Ghorepani and meet the area's local people. Also, enjoy the splendid sunset view of snow-clad mountains from Poon Hill.

  • Day 1- Kathmandu - Pokhara expand_more

    • In the morning, travel by tourist bus to Pokhara, which takes about seven hours on a comfortable ride. 

    Departure: 7 am

    Distance: 200 km

  • Day 2- Pokhara - Hille expand_more

    • Drive to Nayapul and trek to Hille for 4 hours.

    • Go for an easy and short day trek through the local village.

  • Day 3- Hille - Ghorepani expand_more
    • Walk for about 6 hours through Rhododendron forest with waterfalls and experience the Himalayan view.
  • Day 4- Ghorepani - Tadapani expand_more

    • Early morning walk to Poon hill for the sunrise view of the snow-capped Himalayan. You may see an almost 180-degree panorama.

    • Head back to the lodge for breakfast.

    • Then, go for a trek to Tadapani. 

  • Day 5- Tadapani - Chhumrung expand_more

    • Experience the local culture and Himalayan vistas.

    • Walk along the rice field and village.

    • Reach Chhumrung. 

  • Day 6- Chhumrung - Himalayan Hotel expand_more

    • Walk past the lush rhododendron forest and bamboo forest with amazing waterfalls. You may encounter langurs and Mountain goats.

  • Day 7- Himalaya - Annapurna Base Camp expand_more

    • Walk slowly as you have now reached above 3800 m. Avoid altitude sickness and drink plenty of water.

    •  Reach Machapuchre and walk two hours to Annapurna Base Camp.

    • Enjoy the sunset at the Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 8- Annapurna Base Camp - Bamboo expand_more

    • After having sunrise at Base camp, trek down to Bamboo on the same route. It may take about 8 hours. 

  • Day 9- Bamboo - Hot Spring expand_more
    • Walk back to Chhumrung and descend to Natural Hotspring.
    • Enjoy the hot bath.
  • Day 10- Hot Spring - Pokhara expand_more
    • After walking through the forest and beautiful village, reach Nayapul. You may catch a bus to Pokhara from here.
    • Enjoy lake city.
  • Day 11- Pokhara - Kathmandu expand_more
    • Take a morning tourist bus to Kathmandu.
  • Day 12- Kathmandu Departure expand_more
    • Finally, transfer to the airport for your final departure to your next destination. 

    Tour ends.

Know before you go

  • Nepalese visa fee, Visa can be obtained upon your arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Visas cost 30 USD, 50 USD, and 125 USD for 15, 30 and 90 days respectively.

  • Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.

  • Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu and Pokhara (and also in the case of early return from the mountain than the scheduled itinerary).
