    • Pashupatinath Temple is a famous and sacred Hindu temple complex located on the banks of the Bagmati River.

    • Boudhanath Stupa, a massive mandala that makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and the world.

    • Swayambhunath Stupa, an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley.

    • Patan Durbar Square, one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

    The main attractions in Patan:

    Besides the above-mentioned places to visit, there are other significant sites to be visited:

    • Golden Temple, also known as Hiraṇyavarṇa Mahāvihāra, is a historical vihara situated in Patan and is famous for feeding rats.

    • Kumbheshwar Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temple. 

    • Krishna Mandir, a 17th-century Shikhara-style temple built by King Siddhi Narsing Malla.

    • Jagat Narayan Temple, peacefully located inside a huge courtyard, is a beautifully built Shikhara style terracotta temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

    • Mahaboudha Temple, a masterpiece of 14th-century innovation, this Buddhist temple is made from thousands of clay bricks engraved with breathtaking religious carvings. 

    • Ashokan Stupa, the four Ashoka's stupas, is a testimony to the Kathmandu Valley's ancient culture, tradition, and lifestyle.
