Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu expand_more
Enjoy a warm Nepali welcome and meet your guide for pick-up and transfer to your hotel in Thamel.
After a brief rest, head for the sightseeing of twin Newari villages- Khokana and Bungmati. They are situated 14km south of Kathmandu city. These two Newar Villages are located in the outskirts of the Patan District and are proposed as Tentative UNESCO heritage sites by the Nepal government. Khokana has the temple of Rudryaini and is also famous for the Mustard oil production. Bungmati, 20 minutes walk from Khokana through paddy fields is full of old Newari houses and architecture.
Return back to your hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara expand_more
Relish in a warm breakfast at the hotel and start the 7 hours/200km drive to Pokhara.
Make few stops on the way for stunning photo opportunities.
Follow the Trishuli river, one of the best rivers for amateur rafting until Mugling and then we will go in the opposite direction of the Marshayngdi river for a while. Besides the small and simple villages, the Prithvi Highway also offer a nice view of mountains, most notably from Khairini and onwards.
See the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Manaslu and Annapurna if the weather is clear as soon as you start going down from Kathmandu.
In the evening, stroll around the lakeside depending on the time you reach Pokhara.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Pokhara expand_more
Have a hearty breakfast and drive towards the Davis falls, named after a Swiss couple who got washed away by the waterfall in 1961.
Head to the Gupteshwor cave which has a self created statue of Lord Shiva and the view of Davis falls on the other side.
Walk for 5 minutes to reach the Tibetan refugee camp where you can see Tibetan refugees doing different kinds of work for their livelihood such as making carpets, making jewellery with semi-precious stones and selling it to tourists.
Spend some time understanding Tibet and its political conditions.
Proceed towards the Bindabasani temple and the Seti River gorge.
Relish some free time in the afternoon to yourself.

Day 4: Return to Kathmandu expand_more
Drive back to Kathmandu.
