    • Transfer to Kathmandu airport to board the flight to Lukla (2,800 m). (30-35 minutes)

    • Enjoy the view of the terrain on reaching Lukla Airport.

    • Get introduced to other trekking members and have breakfast at the lodge. Here, the luggage will be taken care of by the porters. 

    • Take a walk towards Bhaisekharka, which begins through stone-paved trails where you make your way through plenty of prayer rocks while still enjoying the flourishing village of Lukla. Capture some of the most beautiful rural scenes on the entire trek. This first and short hike is specifically designed for the purpose of acclimatization.

    • Freshen up after reaching Phakding and take a trip to nearby monasteries.

    • Stay overnight in a lodge at Phakding.

  • Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) expand_more
    • Trek to the first suspension bridge and easy uphill through the settlement of Zapute, Toktok, Benkar, Chumoa to Monju, which is also a gateway to Sagarmatha National Park. Enjoy views of small tea houses and shops. After formalities at the National Park, the trail drops steeply to the long suspension bridge built across the Dudh Koshi River. 

    • Cross another suspension bridge and continue the walk to the high Hillary Bridge at the bottom of the hill. 

    • Go uphill to Namche Bazaar- the gateway to Mt. Everest. This uphill trail will give you the first great view of Mt. Everest that is hidden behind Lhotse-Nuptse and other peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Kusum Khangru.

    • Stay overnight in a lodge at Namche Bazaar.

    Duration of the trek: 5-6 hours.

  • Namche Bazaar- a day for acclimatization expand_more
    • Namche is an essential acclimatization stop. It is recommended to stay active than idle. Go to Thame, which is an old Sherpa village or another good option is Khumjung/Khunde/Khongde village, which further aids with acclimatization while allowing you to enjoy the views of Mt. Everest and surrounding snow-capped peaks along with Sherpa culture. Visit the National Park head office, Museum and monastery or you can simply spend your time exploring cafés, shops, bakeries and restaurants at Namche Bazaar.

    • Stay overnight in a lodge at Namche Bazaar.

  • Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867 m) expand_more
    • Have breakfast at the lodge in Namche Bazaar.

    • Follow the trail that leads short up towards the ridge and an easy way to Kyamjuma. Then descend slightly to Dudhkoshi at 3,250 m. Between Kyangjuma and Sanasa is virtually the only birch/rhododendron forest of the trek to Lobuche. Spot wildlife comprising of musk deer, multicoloured pheasants and a herd of Himalayan Thar. 

    • Reach Sansa, which is a major trail junction to Gokyo Valley and the Everest Base Camp. 

    • Take a steep ascent, which will take you to the famous Tengboche monastery. 

    • Stay overnight in a lodge at Tengboche.

    Duration of the trek: 5 hours.

  • Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,358 m) expand_more
    • Hike half an hour down to the riverside through the lush forest across the river and take a gradual climb up to the valley’s highest settlement of Pangboche (3,860 m). Spot several Chortens and Mani walls and small villages as well. Enjoy close up views of Mt. Ama Dablam. 

    • Continue ascending to Pheriche from where a fairly moderate walk leads to Imja Valley. Climb the last steepest climb of the day to reach Dingboche for overnight stay.

    Duration of the trek: 5-6 hours.

  • Dingboche -2nd day for acclimatization expand_more
    • Climb the ridge on the north behind the village to appreciate the magnificent view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse and numerous other peaks that are visible from Dingboche. The vantage point on the ridge also gives you a chance to observe Imja Khola Valley and the charming fields and pastures of Dingboche (optional).

    • Simply spend your day exploring Dingboche Valley. 

    • Stay overnight at Dingboche.

  • Trek to Lobuche (4,928 m) expand_more
    • Climb to Dughla through the Khumbu Khola valley. On reaching Dusa, the valley begins to narrow down. 

    • Continue through Phulong Karpo. 

    • Enjoy Chola Lake with a walk for majestic views of Mt. Pumori (7,138 m), which disappears as the trail descends and curves as we come across a roaring stream. 

    • Cross a small wooden bridge and ascend to Dughla. 

    • Climb up the steep terminal of the Khumbu Glacier, wherein one can see memorials of Sherpa who perished on the glacier of Mt. Everest. Spot other great peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. 

    • Climb up to Lobuche for overnight stay.

    Duration of the trek: 5 hours.

  • Trek to GorakShep-Everest Base Camp- GorakShep expand_more
    • Proceed to Gorakshep and check in to Mt. Lodge.

    • Have lunch and start the climb for the Everest Base Camp. 

    • Spot the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse and so on.  Take a small ascent from here that will lead you to 360 degrees vista of snowy mountains. 

    • Take a steep climb up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier, which will give you a glimpse of Kala Pattar. 

    • Walk through rocky and glacial trails finally leading to the Everest Base Camp.

    • Return to Gorakshep (5,160 m) for overnight stay.

    Duration of the trek: 7-8 hours.

  • Hike to Kala Pattar-Pheriche (5,550 m) expand_more
    • Hike to the Kala Pattar. 

    • Walk upwards for a couple of hours till you reach a famous viewing point of Kala Pattar that offers the best views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori and Ama Dablam. 

    • Spend some time here appreciating and taking snaps of breathtaking snow-capped peaks, all around you. 

    • Hike back to Gorekshep, have breakfast and retrace to Pheriche for overnight stay.

    Duration of the trek: 7-8 hours.

  • Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,400 m) expand_more
    • Go downhill to Pangboche village. 

    • Cross the bridge over Imja Khola and continue to climb towards Tengboche. 

    • Take a steep descent from Tengboche and cross the first bridge over the Dudh Koshi River on the return trip to PhunkiTenga.

    • Pass the village of Tashinga and Sansa to reach Kyangjuwma. Namche Bazaar is an easy walk from here. 

    • Enjoy a hot shower and visit restaurants, cafes and bakeries.

    Duration of the trek: 7-8 hours.

  • Trek to Lukla (2,652 m) expand_more
    • Descend from Namche Hill to the suspension bridge crossing the Dudh Koshi River near the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. 

    • Reach Monjo and complete formalities at the check post of National Park at Monjo.

    • Continue walking to Phakding for lunch. 

    • Proceed to Lukla. Also, most of the tracks are flat which allows you to enjoy open plains, rhododendrons and pine forests, Sherpa village, prayer stones and flapping prayer flags with very less effort. 

    • Overnight stay will be at a lodge at Lukla.

    Duration of the trek: 7-8 hours.

  • Fly back to Kathmandu (1,300 m) expand_more
    • Fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy a 30-minute scenic flight from Lukla. 

    • Transfer from Kathmandu airport to your hotel.
