Embark on this 12-day trek through the Annapurna Circuit and explore gorgeous Nepali villages and rivers. Traverse the Marsyangdi valley and the famous Thorong La Pass, and take in the majestic views of Paungda Danda rock face and the mighty Pisang Peak. Day 1- Kathmandu - Besisahar - Syange expand_more
Drive to Besisahar from Kathmandu. At Dumre, divert and continue further into Besisahar, which will take one and half hours.
Have lunch and continue the drive towards Syange (1,130 m) in Marsyangdi Valley.
Overnight stay at the tea house/lodge with dinner.

Day 2- Manang Village - Tal expand_more
Take a fantastic hike towards Tal (1,700 m). Along the way, there will be many high and steep climbs and also suspension bridges, all the while passing through beautiful valleys that sport waterfalls.
Continue and arrive at Manang village (3,519 m).

Day 3- Bagarchhap expand_more
Cross the Marsyangdi valley. The trail then leads to a stone stairway (1,860 m) and proceeds until we reach Dharapani (1,890 m).
Continue to Bagarchhap (2,160 m), a village development committee. Spot flat-roofed stone houses of the local Tibetans throughout the village.

Day 4- Chame expand_more
Go on a bumpy and rocky trail as you proceed on to Syangja.
Reach Chame, the headquarter of Manang district in the Gandaki Zone of northern Nepal.
Enjoy the majestic views of Annapurna II of the Annapurna mountain range.

Day 5- Upper Pisang expand_more
Journey through deep forests and rivers including a long bridge at 2,910 metres.
Walk at great heights and cross another bridge at 3,040 m with your Nepali tour guide.
Enjoy the view of the soaring western rock face of Paungda Danda that rises dramatically 1,500 m above the Marshyangdi River.
Follow the trail. Climb towards Pisang peak, a trekking peak above Pisang village. We will go towards Upper Pisang.

Day 6- Pisang - Manang expand_more
Continue through the upper regions of the Manang district.
Take alternate trails - north and south of the Marsyangdi River, meeting up at Mungji. The southern route by Hongde, with it's airstrip at 3,325 m, involves less climbing than the northern route via Ghyaru.
Pass the picturesque but partially hidden village of Bryanga at 3,475 m and continue to the nearby Manang at 3,500 m.

Day 7- Manang expand_more
Spend the day with quiet walks and views of nearby village life. Many people do opt to go hiking at the nearby ice lake.
End the day with rest at your accommodation place.

Day 8- Manang - Jarsang Khola Valley expand_more
Depart from Manang. The trail will take us towards Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) in the end. The climb will take us through Tenki, leaving Marshyangdi Valley and continuing along Jarsang Khola Valley.

Day 9- Phedi High Camp expand_more
Enter Phedi High Camp. By now, our trail will descend a bit and come across a river at 4,310 m before going towards Phedi at 4,420 m.
Overnight stay at guesthouses/lodges here.

Day 10- Thorong La Pass expand_more
Begin the journey from the foot of the hill at Phedi and proceed towards Thorong La pass. It's a steep climb here but easy to follow.
Go up the Thorang La pass marked by Chortens and prayer flags. Enjoy the scenic views here.

Day 11- Marpha expand_more
Spend a quiet day at Marpha with your Himalayan tour guide. Marpha is actually a village development committee with a small population of less than 1000 people.

Day 12- Pokhara expand_more
Drive back to Pokhara, which is a 10-12 hour drive.
Overnight stay in Pokhara.
