    • An early start takes you to Tribhuwan International Airport for the 30-minute flight to Lukla (2804 meters).

    • Continue your trek heading towards Namche Bazaar, which is at an altitude of 3441m/5:30 hours.

    Known as the ‘Gateway to Everest’ you will spend today here in order to acclimatise and adjust to the thinning air. 

    As well as a short trek there is a museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people to visit. 

    More importantly, from here you will get the first proper glimpse of Everest and the surrounding mountains; the day allows time to observe and reflect on the journey ahead. 5 hours.

  • Namche Bazaar to Tengboche(3860m/12664ft) expand_more
    • Trek to an altitude of 3850m today. 

    • On reaching Tengboche, your Everest trekking guide will tell you about the local monastery situated here. 

    • The group will be taken to observe the prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning, depending on how the day’s trekking went. Duration will be 5:30 hours.

  • Tengboche to Dingboche(4410m/14468ft) expand_more
    • Continue to climb as you head to the altitude of 4310m taking your time so as not to be affected by the thinning air. Duration of 5:30 hours.

    • Second acclimatisation day includes a visit to the nearby Chhukung Valley where the group will be taken to Chhukung Ri (5546m). This point offers fantastic views of the fifth highest mountain Makalu. 

    • After appreciating the surrounding scenery, trek back to your camp in Dingboche, relaxing in the evening. Duration will be 5 hours.

  • Dingboche to Lobuche(4910m/16108ft) expand_more
    • Today the trek climbs to 4910m. Duration of 5:30 hours. 

  • Gorak Shep expand_more
    • Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5153m/16906ft). Duration of 4 hours.

  • Everest Base Camp(5363m/17595ft) expand_more
    • Hike to Everest Base Camp(5363m/17595ft) and back to Gorak Shep. Today you reach our goal by trekking to Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5363m. 

    • After appreciating your efforts and photographing the achievement, return to Gorak Shep. Duration of 5 hours.

  • Hiking up Kalapathar(5545m/18192ft) expand_more
    • After reaching Base camp, your aim today is to trek Kalapathar (5545m). 

    • Start early to reach the viewpoint that offers some of the best views of Mount Everest as well as other panoramas of the surrounding mountains. 

    • Then descend to Pherbuche. Duration of 6 hours.

    Hiking up Kalapathar(5545m/18192ft) and overnight at Pheriche(4210m/13812ft).

    • Continue your descent to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft) for 6 hours.

  • Namche Bazaar to Phakding expand_more
    • Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2610m/8563ft). Duration of 4 hours.


  • Phakding to Lukla(2840m/9317ft) expand_more
    • The final day of trekking returns you to the town of Lukla, where the overnight stay gives you time to explore the town as well as reflect upon the mountains you have recently visited for one last time before heading back to Kathmandu. Duration of 3 hours.


  • Lukla to Kathmandu expand_more
    • After breakfast, walk about 5 minutes to the airport to catch your return flight to Kathmandu. Duration of 35 minutes.

    • After breakfast, drive to the airport for departure.
