After completing your customs formalities, pick up your luggage and meet the tour representative
Head to your hotel.
After checking in, if time allows, visit the tour office to meet your trekking leader as well as other trekkers and for final preparation for the trip.

Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation. expand_more
Start the sightseeing tour, right after breakfast.
Visit some of the landmarks which are considered the World Heritage historic Sites: Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath), which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.
Come back for a pre-trip discussion with your trek leader and other team members. Your leader will brief you on your trek, discussing any difficulties regarding your upcoming adventure.
Utilize the rest of the time to go around Thamel and shop for equipment and other necessities

Fly Kathmandu to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2610m) 3-4 hrs. expand_more
Head to the airport for Lukla flight. The flight into Lukla is a lifetime experience in itself. The airfield is at high evaluation and the distance between the two ends of the runway is about 60 meters.

Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5-6 hrs. expand_more
Follow the route of Dudh Kosi, ascending through Himalayan pine and Deodar cedar forests, to the celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat and textiles.
Spend two days in Namche for acclimatization, visiting local markets and bonding with your team.
Savour your first glimpses of Everest and neighbouring peaks.

Acclimatization Namche to Khumjung Hiking and return back to Namche Bazaar. expand_more
This day is reserved for acclimatization and a very slow descent into thin air.
After breakfast, start the ascent towards Khumjung. The trail ascends above Namche Bazar and passes through Syangboche (3720m) - this is where the local airport is located.
From a hilltop above the airport, get your first views of Taboche Peak (6 367m), Lhotse (8 414m), Peak- 38 and Ama Dablam. (6856m)
On arrival at Khumjung (3 780m), visit the Hillary School before stopping for lunch at one of the tea houses the walk takes about 3 hours.
After lunch, continue ascending the footpath to Khunde (3 840m), here you could visit the local hospital before the 2-hour ascent back to Namche Bazar. This day is physically demanding at times and you should be prepared as the weather is very unpredictable.
Visit the local museum where you can see the traditional custom of the Sherpa peoples. You will spend a second night in Namche.

Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m) 5-6 hrs. expand_more
Follow closely, as the flat and easy trail leads towards the view of Mt. Everest, then descends deep into the Dudh Kosi Valley at Pungki Thanka; from here it ascends the right flank of the Dudh Kosi valley to Tengboche Monastery (3860m). It is the spiritual center of the Khumbu; the climb is long, but more than adequately compensated by views of Mt. Amadablam and on a clear day, views of Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks.

Trek Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m) 5-6 hrs. expand_more
Descend through a beautiful forest then cross the Imja Khola and trek through the village of Pangboche (3900m); perhaps today is the most interesting trekking because you will not lose altitude like on other days and you will enjoy views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse & other peaks.
Continue through pastures to Dingboche, known as the 'Summer Valley'.

Acclimatization day in Dingboche; hiking to Nagerjun (5100m), 4-5 hours. expand_more
This would be your second acclimatization day.
After breakfast, ascend to Nagarjun (5100m), a hill located on the flanks of the Chhukung Valley directly above Dingboche. The main aim is to climb high and sleep low. The footpath becomes steep at times, resulting in a physically challenging day - ascending the hill could take up to 5 hours at altitude.
From this altitude, get good views of Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), Kangtega (6685m) and Ama Dablam (6856m). On a clear day, you could even see Makalu, the world's fifth highest mountain, including great views of the Pheriche Valley.
After a short rest, start the descent back to Dingboche.
After lunch, take a well-deserved rest, afternoon temperatures could drop rapidly as the sun sets over the mountain tops. You will spend a second night in Dingboche.

Trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m) 5-6 hrs. expand_more
Trek along a broad valley floor to Dughla, passing the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240 m), staffed by western volunteer doctors and supported by the Himalayan Rescue Association which offers treatment and consultation to trekkers.
Continue up the valley, gaining altitude.
Come out of the valley to descend to the yak pastures of Lobuche. (4910m).

Trek Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5400m) then back to Gorekshep (5181m) 6-7 hrs. expand_more
After a short climb through meadows, look down on the Khumbu Glacier. Straight ahead is Kala Pattar - the best vantage point to view the entire south face of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks.
After a couple of hours, get to Gorak Shep, and continue your journey to Everest Base camp. There is not much elevation gain, but there are a lot of ups and downs and, combined with altitude, this can be a tiring portion- but the journey is worth it.
After approximately 3 hrs of hiking, you will arrive at Base Camp and enjoy views of the Khumbu Glacier and Icefall, where Everest expeditions begin.

Hiking Gorekshep to Kalapattar (5545m) to Gorekshep to Pheriche (4210m) 6-7 hrs. The day starts with a hike up to Kalapattar (5545m), the best viewpoint to witness Mt. Trek Pheriche to Tengboche (3860m): 5-6 hrs expand_more
Following the same route back to the terminal moraines at Dughla and following the wide valley of Khumbu Khola, pass through the beautiful Sherpa villages of Pheriche, Orsho, and Shomare. If you wish to visit the Gompa in Upper Pangboche, take a different trail from Shomare. Otherwise, take the regular trial to reach Pangboche.
From Pangboche, retrace your footsteps down to the Imja Khola and up through the forest to Debuche or if interested, visit nuns at the Debuche monastery.
Finally, reach Tengboche. If you are trekking during the full moon of November or December, you might get an opportunity to witness the Mani Rimdu festival in the monastery at Tengboche.

Trek Tengboche to Namche Bazaar: (3440m): 5-6 hrs. expand_more
Trek down through the hillside blanketed by rhododendron and juniper trees. If it Is Spring, pink and red rhododendron flowers will fill the surroundings.
After crossing the prayer flag festooned bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, reach Phunki Thenga. The trail then follows the Dudh Kosi gorge, descending rapidly through the pine forests. The path eventually reaches Sansa which is the major trail junction in the region.
Stop at Kyangjuma (3570 m/11,710 ft) for a relaxed lunch and appreciate the gorgeous Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Nuptese with every bite.
Following lunch, the trail to Namche Bazaar clings to the steep wooded slope beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several bends.
Keep a lookout for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards, colourful pheasants, etc., while passing through the forest by the trail.
After passing a Chorten, reach army camp at Namche Bazaar. Take a long last look back to Lhotse, the tip of Everest and Tengboche from here. On reaching your lodge, take a nice hot shower and have a relaxed sleep.

Trek Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2800m) 6-7 hrs. expand_more
Firstly, descend the long way before crossing the bridge and further walking to Monju.'
Reach Phakding for lunch.
Trek back, enjoying the lush green scenery around and passing through the incredible mountain scenery and local Sherpa village.
After a long walk of 7-8 hrs, arrive at Lukla and you'll have time to stroll around the areas.
Head for a celebration dinner with your crew member for a memorable trip.

Nepal entree visa: you can get a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu (a multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by Paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos).
