Embark on an enchanting journey through the heart of the Langtang Valley, known as Namge Dagam, the sacred Beyul established by the revered Padmasambhava in the 8th century. Commencing from Syabrubesi, a village nestled approximately 148 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu, the Langtang trek winds along the picturesque Langtang Khola. Trekking through captivating forests adorned with bamboo and rhododendrons, adventurers ascend through the Langtang Valley, ascending to elevations of up to 3,430 meters.

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu: 1300m/4265ft expand_more
    • Arrival in Kathmandu, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops. 

    • You will have a briefing on your trek tonight, followed by the welcome dinner.

  • Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley expand_more
    • Your sightseeing trip will start at 9 am in the morning after breakfast with a private vehicle and professional tour guide. 

    • You will visit Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath or Monkey Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. 

    • The rest of the day is spent preparing for your trek.

  • Day 03: Drive to Syabru Besi. Trek begins (1,420m/4,658ft), 7 hrs expand_more
    • This morning, drive on a northern highway that twists and climbs over mountain ridges to the Trishul Valley for lunch and to Syabru village overnight. The journey will take 8-9 hours through picturesque landscapes, mountain scenery and local villages. 

    • From Syabru, enjoy magnificent views of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Mt Kerung of Tibet. 

    Relax tonight at a local teahouse.

  • Day 04: Trek to Langtang: (3,480m/11,415ft), 5-6 hrs expand_more
    • After breakfast, start trekking on your own pace, and the trail ascends for two hours through the forest followed by a climb of about an hour to reach Bamboo village (1,850m/6,068ft) where we'll stop for lunch. This forested path with well-stabilized trails and following the upstream and can observe birds life around the bushes. Bee hives hanging on a cliff are another attraction for the visitors. 

    • Last but not the least, once again climb up the steep trail through the bamboo forest to head the Lama Hotel for overnight at a local teahouse.

  • Day 05: Trek to Langtang: (3,480m/11,415ft), 5-6 hrs expand_more
    • Today, have a pleasant walk following the trail through rhododendrons and pine forests for at least three hours to reach Ghora Tabela and stop for lunch. This area has a dense wild habitat, and many small babblers with many herbs can be found. 

    • After lunch, we will walk another three hours on the scenic trail to Langtang village. 

    Overnight at Village View Lodge in Langtang.

  • Day 06: Langtang - Kyanjin Gompa: (3820m/14,578ft), 3-4 hrs. expand_more
    • Leave the village and start the three-hour trek leisurely to Kyanjing Gompa. From here, enjoy beautiful views of Mt Ganchempo and Langtang Lirung.

    • We will visit the surrounding area, such as the Yak Cheese Factory, Monastery, and local houses, before relaxing for the evening at the teahouse.

  • Day 07: Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa / Excursion to Tesrko Ri 5150m, 3 hours expand_more
    • Today, enjoy a full day of rest and relaxation in the surrounding area. Enjoy the views, explore the local area, or visit some highlights of Cherku-Ri (5,150 meters), a glacier walk, or Langshisha kharka; it all depends on your fitness and interests.

    Back to the hotel for an overnight stop. 

  • Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel: (2340m/7,675ft), 6-7 hrs expand_more
    • Simply relax and enjoy the views, explore Kyanjing Ri, or visit Cherku-Ri(5,150 meters).

    • Alternatively, do an exploration of glacier walk or Langshishakharka, depending on your fitness and interest. 

    • Return to the hotel for an overnight stop.
  • Day 09: Trek to Thulo Syabru: (1,900m/6,232ft), 5-6 hrs expand_more
    • Our trail leads again through bamboo and rhododendron forests, where we may see the local wild boar as well as other animals and birdlife on the way to Thulo Syabru. 

    • En route, have close views of marvellous Mt. Ganesh Himal. 

    • Initially, following the river bank will be easy downhill, but the last part will go steeply uphill for a couple of hours to reach the Thulosyabru.

  • Day 10: Thulo Syabru - Sing Gompa (3350m), 5 hrs expand_more
    • The trail goes gradually up until we get to Phaprang Danda. 

    • After having lunch here, continue the trek through the dense forest. See the different types of birds and wild animals, especially Panda. The Rhododendron flower will be blooming from March to April. 

    • The trail from Pharprang is fairly easy to Sing Gompa, which offers views of the Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang ranges. Sing Gompa itself is a popular place for a Monastery and Cheese factory.

  • Day 11: Sing Gompa to Dhunche (1650m/5,412ft), 3.30 hrs then Drive back to Kathmandu expand_more
    • This morning, after breakfast, prepare for the trek to Dhunche. This is quite a pleasant walk through the forested path, and some old Tamang villages take 3.30 hours. 

    • After arrival in Dhunche, have lunch and then drive back to Kathmandu.

  • Day 12: Sightseeing Bhaktapur City expand_more
    • Start the cultural tour in Bhaktapur city for 3 hours, then return to the hotel and relax, shop, etc.

  • Day 13: Fly back Home expand_more
    • You will have enough time to go shopping before you leave for the airport.
