Explore the land of the Gurungs, stopping in local tea houses and shopping in the village settlements along the way. This memorable trip will take you through the villages of Nayapool, Ulleri, Ghorepani, Tadepani and all the way up to Ghandruk, where the most picturesque of all scenes awaits.

Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool and Trek to Ulleri expand_more
Se out from Pokhara and drive for an hour and a half to reach Nayapool.
Start trekking for 5 hours through the river, local villages, and forest. You will experience a flat and easy walk till Tikkhedhunga (1540m). Then, Trek uphill towards Ulleri (1960m), where you can see the spectacular view of Annapurna South and Himchuli.
Check-in at a local tea house.

Day 2: Trek to Ghodepani expand_more
Walk for about one hour through Ulleri and Banthanti village. Here, you will enter a thick forest and walk until you arrive at a breathtaking waterfall.
Reach Ghorepani (2860m) by lunch time and enjoy a meal at a local tea house.
Walk to Poonhill (3210m) to view sunset on panoramic Himalayas.

Day 3: Morning hike to Poonhill and trek to Tadapani expand_more
Set out for a hike to Poonhill early in the morning. From here, you will see a superb view of the sunrise and a panoramic view of the Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and others.
Come back to Ghorepani, enjoy a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Tadapani.

Day 4: Trek to Ghandruk expand_more
Trek through the forests of Rhododendron and oak. This is an easier trek, and this section rewards richly with bird sightings.
Reach Ghandruk, a prominent Gurung settlement where you can visit the local handicraft center and Gurung Museum. This village also affords good views of the Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail.
In the evening, enjoy a typical Gurung cultural programme (on demand).

Day 5: Trek back to Nayapool and drive to Pokhara expand_more
Trek downhill to Birethanti and continue to Nayapool.
Drive to Pokhara with our car and check in to the hotel.
You can take a walk around the lakeside of Pokhara.
Transfer to the hotel or continue to Kathmandu.
