    • After arrival, the group will be formally introduced to the guide and briefed about the activities over the next few days. One should pay attention, in particular, to the safety aspects of the briefing. Any questions or doubts should be asked and clarified at this time. We check your insurance details and other requirements for trekking.

  • Kathmandu to Pokhara (960 m) expand_more
    • Drive or fly to Pokhara, situated on the side of Lake Fewa. It is a beautiful area with fishtail mountain or Machapuchare behind it. Pokhara is only 200 km from Kathmandu and it can take 6/8 hours by road to reach there, depending on the season.

    • Overnight in a hotel.

  • Pokhara to Nayapul to Tikhedhunga expand_more
    • After breakfast, fly to Pokhara and continue to drive to Birethanti to begin your trek to Ulleri (2070 m), which takes about five and half hours.

    • The first part of your trek is easy, passing through numerous small villages and settlements.

    • Afterwards, you ascend gently to the final destination of the day. The majority of people here are Gurung and they follow Buddhism. They are engaged in agricultural activities, tourism business and some in Gorkha and Indian regiments.

    • Then, you could go further, passing through Ulleri.

    • Stay in a trekking lodge. Full board.

  • Tokhedhunga - Ghorepani (2750 m) expand_more
    • Today, we make our ascent to the Ghorepani village. We start by ascending to Banthanti and Magar villages. On the way, you can see Machapuchre, Huinchuli (6441 m), and Annapurna (7219 m) South.

    • Your trail from here is easier, passing through forests to the final camp. You could see some animals and various species of birds. The name Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse-water’, owing to its role as an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop.

  • Poon Hill (3200 m) for Sunrise view then trek to Tadapani expand_more
    • Today is a special day because we conquer Poon Hill- an icon of Annapurna region. We climb the steep trail to the top of Poon Hill (3200 m). The efforts will be rewarded with a spectacular view of Machapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna.

    • After taking photos and having some coffee, tea or hot chocolate, we return to Ghorepani.

    • Overnight stay in a trekking lodge. Full board.

  • Tadapani (2700 m) to Sinuwa (2310 m) expand_more
    • After breakfast, we head east and climb a nearby ridge. We descend through rhododendron forest, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way, and reach Tadapani.

    • Dropping down from Tadapani Gurjung, the route offers a good view of the upper Modi valley. The path then starts the long ascend, high above the west bank of Modi Khola.

    • We pass the village of Chhomrong, that lies tucked at the very base of Himal Chuli.

    • From Chhomrong, the trail descends until Chhomrong Khola, then has a slow climb as we head up to our destination for the day-Sinuwa.

    • Overnight stay in a trekking lodge. Full board.

  • Sinuwa to Deurali (3150 m) expand_more
    • We proceed to Kuldi Ghar, about 2 ½ to 3 hours walking. A little further in the forest, the route is very steep. The path becomes rocky but levels out after a point. Always be on the west side of the river.

    • We pass by the pasture of Tomo, and the very neck of the gorge at pantheon Barah, where there is a small trail and a shrine. The track climbs to Himalaya hotel at the campsite.

  • Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4230 m) expand_more
    • Today, we climb past the Machapuchare Base Camp (which isn't really a base camp, since climbing the mountain is not permitted) to the Annapurna Base Camp. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by mountains. From here, it is a two-hour trek to Annapurna Base camp, which offers a spectacular view.

  • Annapurna Base Camp –Dovan (2630 m) expand_more
    • Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630 m), which takes about five hours. It's much easier going down. You should have no problem reaching Sinuwa in a single day from Annapurna Base Camp.

    • Now, you trek to Dovan.

    • Overnight stay in a trekking lodge. Full board.

  • Dovan –Jhinu Danda (1740 m) expand_more
    • It will take about 5 hours to trek from Dovan to Jhinu Danda. The path leads to Bamboo passing through forests with varieties of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo plants.

    • After Bamboo, the trail goes steeply up to the Kuldi Ghar and becomes quite flat until you reach Sinuwa.

    • You gradually descend to the Chhomrong Khola, from where you have to follow a stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Jhinu. It has a natural hot spring too.

  • Jhinu Danda - Nayapul - Drive to Pokhara expand_more
    • Trek from Chhomrong to Nayapul via Birethanti takes about 4 hours.You begin your trail following a flat path, passing through the forests, rocks and terraces.

    • After Kimche (1638 m), the trail descends through human settlements and rice terraces up to Seuli Bazaar.

    • From here, the trail moves along the bank of Modi Khola to Birethanti. En route, you pass through waterfalls as well. Birethanti is a small town with few lodges, shops and human settlements.

    • Now, you walk up to Nayapul (New Bridge) for almost twenty minutes.

    • From Nayapul, you drive for an hour to Pokhara.

  • Drive back to Kathmandu expand_more
    • After breakfast, you drive to Kathmandu. While driving to Kathmandu, you head up to Damauli, Muglin, and Kurintar, where Nepal's first cable car opened, to reach Manakamana Temple.

    • From Naubishe, you climb to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city.

    • You are then directly taken to the hotel.

    • We will take you for a farewell dinner with food and a traditional show in the evening.

Know before you go
  • Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions and the health of trekkers can all contribute to changes. The guides and their Sherpa assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.
  • Experience Required: This Trek is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk for 6 – 7 hours a day with a light rucksack. Some of the days are quite long, and the walking feels more strenuous at altitude. Generally, the trail is a good track, but occasionally it will be uneven and rocky.
  • Food & Accommodation: You are accommodated in teahouses whilst on trek. A teahouse is a local run guesthouse, but standards vary enormously. In popular areas such as Everest, teahouses are more like hotels, with hot water, Western food and private rooms
  • Recommended equipment list: Trekkers must provide their clothing and equipment. Some items of equipment are available for hire from us as like Sleeping bags and Down Jacket
  • Footwear: Well-broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, and camp shoes.
  • Clothing: Down or fibre-filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, track suit.
  • Mode of Payment: Cash, credit card and payment through bank.

  • Booking Conditions: A non-refundable deposit of 10 percent must be paid at the time of booking and the booking form must be completed.

  • Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

  • Travel insurance with unlimited medical coverage is compulsory.

  • A visa for Nepal can be obtained from Kathmandu airport. Please note that your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your return, and 2 passport-size pictures will be needed.

  • If cancellation, in writing, is received more than 45 days prior to departure, the non-refundable deposit will be retained (maximum 10% of the total land price).

  • If cancellation is received within 45 days of departure, the following per-person cancellation fees will apply:

    • 15-45 days prior to departure: 25% of total price.

    • 7-14 days prior to departure: 35% of total price.

    • Less than 7 days prior to departure: 50% of the total price (except for the total cost of government fees).

    • On departure day or later: 100% of the total price.
