  • Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m) expand_more
    • Arrive in Kathmandu, where our representative will pick you up from the airport. He will be displaying the name of your sideboard outside the airport terminal. Transfer to the selected hotel.
    • Attend the pre-trip meeting, which will be held at our office in the afternoon. During this meeting, we will introduce your trek and or tour leader/guide, so please make sure that you ask all the questions and concerns. For the meeting, please bring your passport, two copies of passport-size photos, and a copy of your travel insurance policy haven'tthaven'ty email before). And sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer.
    • Head out and visit Kathmandu's highlights. In the evening, the tourist hub of Thamel is a good place to grab your first meal, with a variety of restaurants to choose from offering both Western and local Nepali dishes.
  • Day 3: Drive/Fly to Pokhara (823m) expand_more
    • Get picked up your trekking guide from your hotel and taken to the bus station/airport for your Pokhara flight. On the way, catch the great view of the Himalayas and the countryside of Nepal; cross many alpine forests, green hills and riversides. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, Annapurna and Lamjung Himal.
    • Enjoy boating on the Fewa Lake in the evening and hike up to World Peace Stupa for the sunset view over the Pokhara valley and the beautiful Annapurna massif. A perfect start for your trek!
  • Day 4: Pokhara - Nayapul – Tikhedunga (1550m) expand_more
    • Start your journey to the mystical land of the Annapurna with a massive after-morning breakfast.
    • Drive 1.30 hours from Pokhara, which will bring us to Nayapul, a trekking starting point.
    • Do a short 15-20 minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, and we reach Birethanti (1,015m), a large village with many shops and hotels. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola valley. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495m, and after a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1,570m. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy.

  • Day 5: Trek to Ghorapani (2840m) expand_more
    • Ready for our second and most interesting day of the trek!
    • Move on towards 3500 stone steps climbing to Ulleri, a large Magar and Poon village at an altitude of 2,070m. The trail ascends more gently from this point.
    • Walk through a Ulleri village to get Banthanthi for a nice cup of tea and again walk through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons to Nangathanti for a fulfilling lunch.
    • Travel 1:30 hours from Nangathanti to reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is popular for the Poon Hill hike, which presents a spectacular view of the sunrise and a superb panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range.

    Trekking time: 5-6 Hours

  • Day 6: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and Trek to Tadapani (2700m) expand_more
    • See why today is one of the most special days of your trek.
    • Hike up to Poon Hill about an hour for the sunrise view very early in the morning. Poon Hill offers a wide range of Himalayan panoramas like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. It is the most impressive mountain view spot in Nepal. It will be worth an early morning hike; the expensive mountain view encompasses Lamjung Himal in the east to Dhaulagiri Range on the west. These mountains have about a 150 km aerial distance between them, and we will see them in front of us.
    • Trek back to Ghorepani for our breakfast after enjoying the view of the sunrise.
    • Climb along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960m). After that, we descend to the Banthanti for lunch, then turning off to Tadapani.

    Trekking time: 6-7 Hours

  • Trek to Ghandruk (1950m) expand_more
    • This is a good place to have a closer look at the Annapurna massive with a hot cup of tea in the morning. 
    • Leave Tadapani, and we descend a steep downhill through the rhododendron forests. Then, the trail eases as we reach Ghandruk village, the capital of the Gurung people; this is one of the biggest villages in the Annapurna region. The village hosts dramatic views of the mystic peaks of Mt Annapurna, Mt Machapuchare, Mt Gangapurna and Mt Hiunchuli, slate-roofed houses beside paddy fields with people full of culture and tradition.
    • You can visit the ACAP Head office in the afternoon to see the documentary show about the Annapurna Region. 

    Trekking time: 3-4 Hours

  • Day 8: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (823m) expand_more
    • Trek from Ghandruk along the village down to the right side of the Modi River for a few hours to Birethanti, which can be considered one of the best and most relaxing treks of the entire trek.
    • Reach Nayapul, and then the 1:30-hour drive will take us back to Pokhara.

    Trekking time: 4 Hours

  • Day 9: Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu (1300m) expand_more
    • Take an early morning deluxe tourist bus/afternoon flight to Kathmandu. If you have time and are interested in extending the trip, white water rafting, Chitwan jungle safari, Lumbini visit: Birthplace of Lord Buddha, paragliding, and sightseeing will be ideal.
    • Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the selected hotel.
    • Celebrate the successful completion of our journey in the evening with the farewell dinner served in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.
  • Day 10: Final Departure expand_more
    • See how your adventure to Nepal comes to an end today! It’s time to say goodbye to Nepal until the Next Time!
    • Enjoy your last moments in Kathmandu with a city stroll and/or souvenir shopping.
    • Meet our representative at your hotel and drive to the airport for your return flight home. On the way to your home, you have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful land of the mystic Himalayas.

      Keep in Mind to pack light but efficiently, as they will be carrying their belongings throughout the trek. It's also essential to check the weather forecast before departure and adjust their packing list accordingly.
