  • Day 2: Early Morning Flight to Lukla (2,840 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m) 5-6 hours trek expand_more
    • We will be taking an early morning, pre-scheduled flight to Lukla. The flight will last for approximately 30 minutes and provide breathtaking aerial views of the snow-capped Himalayan Range.
    • Upon landing, we will begin our trekking journey on a trail that leads to the Sherpa village of Chheplung, located about 30 minutes away from Lukla. The trail will take us through beautiful scenic terrain and past the majestic Kusum Kanguru, a trekking peak that rises to 6,369m above sea level.
    • As we continue on the trekking trail, we will pass through the village of Ghat (2,550m), which is famous for its cluster of boulders inscribed with the Buddhist mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" over a hundred times. At the end of the day, we will arrive at our destination, Phakding (2,610m).
  • Day 3: Phakding to Namche bazaar (3,340 m) 5-6 hours trek expand_more
    • Today, we will start our trek by tightening our shoelaces and following the trail along the western bank of Dudh Koshi River to reach Benkar, which is located at an altitude of 2,700m. This village is known for its hot springs, which are located in a shed, and a beautiful waterfall.
    • From here, we will cross the river and walk through the rhododendron and blue pine forests to reach Chumoa and Mondzo, located on the edge of the Sagarmatha National Park. Here, we need to show our permit or obtain one if we don't have one.
    • We will then proceed to Monjo village, which is situated at an altitude of 2,800m. We'll take an abrupt trail that descends across Monjo Khola and then drops down to Jhorsalle (2,804m) after crossing the Dudh Koshi River once again.
    • We'll eventually reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers and climb steeply to a suspension bridge across the Dudh Koshi River.
    • After a brief steady ascent through the forest, we'll finally reach Namche Bazaar, which is located at an altitude of 3,340m and offers breathtaking views of the mountains.
  • Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,340 m) expand_more
    • Namche Bazaar is a market town and the administrative center of the Khumbu region, known as the Sherpa 'capital'. It is home to an army camp and serves as the headquarters of Sagarmatha National Park. Every Saturday morning, traders from other places come to the town to participate in the weekly market, which operates until mid-day.
    • Namche Bazaar offers a range of facilities, including internet cafes, an ATM, a bank, a German bakery, medical shops, Tibetan souvenir shops, and dozens of other shops.
    • Namche is an ideal place for acclimatization as it provides several trails to surrounding villages and vantage points, which help accommodate higher elevations with low oxygen levels. On a clear day, the village boasts a stunning panorama of gigantic peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Taweche. You can also learn about the ethnic Sherpa customs and traditions by taking a tour of the village.
  • Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3,870 m) 5-6 hours trek expand_more
    • Today, we will be trekking on a trail that first goes through the Khumjung region and then leads to the main route to Everest Base Camp at Shanasa.
    • The trail then continues towards Trashinga and Phunkitenga (at an altitude of 3,250m), where it crosses the Dudh Koshi River. At Phunkitenga, there is an army checkpoint where they check the trekker's permits.
    • After that, there is a steep climb up through the forest, which is composed of Juniper, Fir, Pine, and Rhododendron, leading to Tengboche (at an altitude of 3,870m). The village provides breathtaking views of peaks like Everest, Ama Dablam, and Kantega. Additionally, it is home to Tengboche Monastery, also known as Dawa Choling Gompa, which is the largest of its kind in the Khumbu region. Tengboche is also known for offering a spectacular sunset view over Mt. Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam.
  • Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m) 5-6 hours trek expand_more
    • This morning, we will make our way through the woodland at Debouche, which is mainly occupied by rhododendrons, birch, fir, and juniper.
    • As we continue our journey, we will steadily head uphill on a trail that passes over the rushing Imja Khola, and will eventually reach Pangboche (3,985m). Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful Pangboche Monastery, which is located within the village. Additionally, you can take in the stunning view of Mt. Ama Dablam from this spot.
    • Afterward, the trail crosses the Imja Khola once again as it ascends past the alpine hillside and leads to Dingboche (4,360m).
  • Day 7: Dingboche free day expand_more
    • On the seventh day of our adventure, we have scheduled a second acclimatization day. As we continue to ascend, we need to acclimate to the environment to avoid issues like Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
    • If you prefer to stay active, you can go for a hike in the beautiful Chhukung Valley. Additionally, you can trek to Nangkartshang Hill (5,090m), which offers stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Island Peak, Makalu, and the valley below. This trek typically takes about 4-5 hours. However, we highly recommend that you allow your body to acclimate so that it can properly prepare for the upcoming challenging journey.
  • Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,960m): 5/6 hours trek: 7.9 km/4.9 miles expand_more
    • Today, we will hike up a ridge and enjoy the magnificent views of Tawache and Cholatse peaks. After passing through the pasturelands, we will cross a wooden bridge to reach Dughla (4,620m).
    • The trail will then steeply ascend to the crest of a glacial moraine and lead us past a memorial dedicated to the climbers and Sherpa who lost their lives during various Everest expeditions. From here, we can witness the breathtaking scenery of Lingtren (6,697m), Pumori (7,145m), Lingtren (6,697m), and Mahalangur Himal. However, the view of Mount Everest is obstructed by the towering Lhotse and Nuptse mountains.
    • After a short hike, we will arrive at Lobuche (4,960m).
  • Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak shep(5,170m), Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m): 6/7 hours trek: 11.7km/7.3 miles expand_more
    • Starting from Lobuche, we will embark on a trek along a rocky trail that leads to the Khumbu Glacier, and eventually to Gorak Shep at an altitude of 5,170 meters.
    •  From there, we will make our way to Everest Base Camp (EBC). The base camp is a beautiful location that can only be reached by trekking, without the need for any mountaineering equipment. Here, you can witness the colorful camps set up by mountaineers during their Everest expeditions. While you may not be greeted with a warm welcome by the climbers, it's important to respect their privacy and focus on fulfilling your dream of sightseeing and taking photos. You may not be able to see the full picture of the colossal Mt. Everest from bottom to top, as you will be too close to the mountain. However, you can still marvel at the stunning Khumbu Icefall, and catch awe-inspiring glimpses of snowy mountaintops including Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and many more. Finally, we will return to Gorak Shep (5,170m).
  • Day 10: Gorak Shap to Kalapatther (5,545m) hike and Pheriche (4,288m): 6/7 hours trek: 15.2km/9.4miles expand_more
    • Today, we will start early in the morning and make our way to Kalapatthar. Kalapatthar is the highest point of our trek and also a popular viewpoint in the Khumbu region. It is located further and at a higher elevation than Everest Base Camp. From this spot, you can get a full view of the world's highest peak, Mt. Everest, which is also known as Chomolungma or Mother Goddess of the Universe in Tibetan, and Sagarmatha in Nepali. You can also witness a mesmerizing sunrise above the peak.
    • Additionally, this location provides a panoramic view of other snow-capped mountains such as Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse, and many more. Alternatively, just above the Lho La pass, you can see the colossal face of Changtse (7,750m). Please note that there are no accommodation facilities available at Kalapatthar, so we will trek back to Pheriche (4,288m).
  • Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazar(3,340m): 6/7 hours trek: 19.5km/12.1 miles expand_more
    • At the break of dawn, we will follow the trail back to Pangboche through the lush green forests.
    • After that, we will proceed towards Tengboche. Along the way, we might come across some beautiful Himalayan wildlife such as Himalayan Tahr, Pheasants, Musk deer, and more.
    • Then, we will descend along the Dudh Koshi River to Phunki Tenga and climb up to the Khumjung region, passing through Sanasa Village.
    • Finally, the trail will take us to Namche Bazaar (3,340m).
  • Day 12: Namche Bazar to Lukla (2,840): 6/7 hours trek:19.1 km/11.9 miles expand_more
    • After crossing the suspension bridges, the trail descends downhill towards the village of Monjo.
